Remarks :

Positive- Has a wide area of campus filled with rubber plantations.in kottayam district.Greenery is a well maintained thing in our college.i love my college very much.Memories that i hav made over the 4 years of my life in that college is remarkable and unforgettable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College is now under the new university named KTU. It is following a good exam pattern in every stream of course.In my opinion the system is not completely perfect.It needs to be altered. Students need more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge to be proficiant in their future.

Placement Experience :

From last year the placemnet cell are working very hard to provide maximum oppertunities for the students.The placement rates has gone high this year. I was also placed in a reputed company from the campus placement.I am very happy about it.College is supporting varius internship projects as well.stipends depends on the tenure of internships.It may vary from 2000-10000.

College Events :

1.RITU Ritu is the techNo cultural fest of RIT.It is mainly conducted in the month of march and april.It is a national level technical fest.students from various part of the states participates in the fest. 2.Keli keli is the arts fest of Rit.It is conducted once in a year. Various cultural events and competitions are part of it.it is one of the most beutiful events of rit.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasable by everyone.Govt fee of rs 8750 per year plus exam fees and pta nd bus fee are the only expense beign in this college.Total yearly fees will be less than 20000.various scholarships are provided by state and central govt to meritorius and economically backward students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Merit cum means scholarship for minority students. This scholorship gives a scholarship amount of 11000 per year for all students who are granted the scholarships. Central sector scholarship - This scholarships are given to students having income of their family is less than 8lakh.

Campus Life :

Labs are best in our college mechanical electrical machines labs has enough space and equipments to work on.computer science dept has good enough systems and labs to make themeselves talented.civil dept also has good lab facilities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumnies are best in our college.They support a lot in different fields for the growth of their college and for the future of a lot of other students.They support academic and co carricular activities.

Admission :

Passed the KEAM entrance test with good rank.Got admission through CAP (alotment) in general merit category.Alotment process last less than 2 months.Maths phy nd chemistry are the core subjects to be studied for passing enteance.

Faculty :

Faculty are good enough.But there are some departments which needs more talented faculties.Experienced faculties must be included.Teachers must be friendly as well us roll models.All faculties must be given special trainings

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
