Remarks :
The college location is also very good there is also a private beach and the only college in the country to have a private beach. The weather is not that good. There are only two seasons here rainy season and summer season. There's also problems of power cut at the end of even semester which is in summer season
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic structure is of semester wise. There are 2 internals 1 mid sem and 1 end sem exam in a semester. The odd semester begins from August until November and even sem from January to May. Course curriculum is good exam is pretty hard. There is no gap for subjects in mid semester exam and one day gap in end semester exam.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are excellent. In My department the placement percentage is 100%. An average more than 90% of the students get placed average package of 7 lpa. There's internship opportunity with stipend of 20000 per month on an average.
College Events :
NITK is also famous for its technical and cultural fest. Some of the fests are as follows Film fest, engineer, incident, crescendo, etc Engineer technical fest while the others are cultural. Incident is the biggest fest of our college and one of the biggest fest in South India.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure depends on the family annual income.if the family annual income is more than 6.5 lpa then the college fees is 65000. If the annual income is less than 3.5 lpa dental College fees around 35000. If it is less than 1.5 lpa then there's no college fees. But everyone regardless of their annual income has to pay around 25000 for accomodation and food.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College does not offer any scholarships or loan facilities. Those who are eligible can apply online for scholarship provided by respective state government. And students can apply for eduction loan through banks.
Campus Life :
There are lot of extra curricular activities to choose from. We have a sports complex which has a lot of sports activities like volleyball ,basketball, hocky, cricket, table, tennis ,badminton ,squash, football ,handball, etc. We also have a swimming pool
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructures are pretty good. It's not brand new but manageable. In first year three students share a room. In second year it's 2. And 3rd year and final year people get a single room. Facilities are moderate. There's no AC and no washing machine. So it get pretty hot during summer.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior are very helpful provide the materials and other important stuffs necessary for exam preparation. They also guide juniors in getting internships and placements. Alumni network is also really good. they guide students in their field of interest and help them in grabbing the opportunity to move further.
Admission :
1.write JEE mains exam 2. If you qualify then apply through website- jeemains.nic.in 3.after getting the seat, report to the college within the given period. Carry on the specified documents. 4. after reporting and verification of the documents, admission process will take place.
Faculty :
Faculties are pretty good, most of them have PhD. Most of them care about students, except a few. The teaching style is also very good understandable. If a student has any doubt in any topic they'll help them understand the topic separately in his/her cabin.
