Remarks :

The college is way too far from the main city that acts as a disadvantage for students who want to attend other classes for preparation of CAT or GATE considering the commute time. Also there are few outlets near the campus. It is still under construction.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is well defined. Follows the same as provided by the other IITs. There is a mid semester evaluation and an end semester evaluation. The distribution of marks vary as per the instructor's decree.

Placement Experience :

There is a placement cell instituted for the purpose of providing students with better exposure to industry. Yes the college does provide internship - usually research internships for students pursuing their masters elsewhere. No such internship opportunities are there for the undergraduates.

College Events :

Many events are celebrated in the college.Fluxus is an annual fest organised by our college that is the third largest of its kind in central India.Apart from that monthly DJ nights, fortnightly game nights and celebration on every festival is conducted with great vigour.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure varies for general category and other category students. Being a general category student, I saw a fifty percent hike in fees for the general category student in the next year all thanks to Smriti Irani. And again this year law for increasing the fees for graduate studies is also being circulated.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MCM scholarship is offered to students whose economic condition is not well off. But the students must score a minimum of 7 cpi in the proceeding year in order to stand eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life :

Several clubs exist - literary club, photography club, kalakriti, dance club and many more to cater to the overall development of students. Even basketball court , tennis court and a well equipped gym are there.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are newly built and well maintained. Every one is alloted a single room with necessary facilities like fridge, sofa and telephone. But the monsoon season does bring a worse even for the newly built buildings.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

An alumni club is also there that keeps track of the achievements and work of the alumni. Many sessions are conducted where alumni come and speak to the current students, motivate them and clear their queries.

Admission :

Via IIT JEE Advance merit list IIT JEE is an exam conducted for admissions to premier institue funded by government. IIT Indore was established in 2008 and has shown tremendous growth eversince. IIT Indore currently accepts 5 btech programmes via IIT JEE Advance

Faculty :

The faculty is well acquainted with all the basics and deliver the best. Though there is a shortage of facility in all courses. Regardless of that many faculty from old IITs visit the campus. The TAs for the lab courses are not that competent.
