Remarks :
There are no negative remarks about my college it is the best college in the upper Assam students from all over the Assam and from other states come to our college to have their higher studies degree.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college had the huge facility of studies and extra curricular activities. It has so many departments including NCC nad sports forum. Earlier it was providing course upto the graduation only but in recent years it has become the autonomous college, so it has increased numbers of departments and courses including post graduation course , it provides education over three streams .science , arts and commerce.
Placement Experience :
Job placement and opportunities Are there in our college, top reputed companies conducts their interview and checking parameters to ensure the credibility of the students, after passing those interviews and written test the one selected placed in their posts, companies like TATA CONSULTANCY, WIPRO etc are one of those companies which provides placements.
College Events :
KK handique memorial debate is an annual inter college all Assam level debate competition which is conducted every year in where students from all over the assam representing their respective college participates. Annual week is one of those memorable events where every kind of sports and cultural events conducted. And recently ANIRVANA 1.0 was conducted it was a college feast where reputed singers and musicians were invited ,one of them were Zubeen garg.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure is Feasible for the students as it is govt College so the fees structures are not so high it is affordable, under 40000 you will have your graduation but post graduation course fees is bit high the actual figures is not known to me as I have left the college after the graduation .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have not availed any of such. But there are many scholarship which are provided to the students who are eligible enough to get those , the scholarships are often funded by the alumni section and the teachers as well , some of the scholarships are lump sum basis , and some of them are on monthly basis.
Campus Life :
They are good , it has labs and wide sports scope. Our college is always remarkable either in sports or cultureal activities. There is basket ball ground in the commerce building, and one sports complex in main building including badminton court and table tennis board all of them made with as per such sports standards and also it has good cricket football equipments , our college also has a GYM with all equipments.
Hostel Facilities :
No I didn't use hostel facility. But it has three hostel one big boys hostel and other two are for girls which are called jb girls old hostel and new hostel. Hostel were packed good facilities like beds , playing grounds small auditorium etc although it is good.
Alumni/Alumna :
They are helpful, alumni association of our college are very active and also very helpful , you will find several scholarship programs for the scholars and weaker and needy person. There are some scholarships which may provide you admission fees and your cost of books, some of them are lump sum basis and some of them are monthly basis. In recent days it has conducted alumni meet which was grand success.
Admission :
I took my admission after my matriculation, we had to purchase the prospectus where you will find the application form along with college details, we had to fill the form according to our choice of stream. On the date of admission the teachers in the stage were calling the the names percentages under which the students fall had to go up to the stage and had to complete the required formalities and we were admitted to the college ,some times you may get disappointment due to non availability of seats as it was a A grade college accredited by NAAC, so students with high marks gets the the priority but there is reservation system for Sc St and Obc other weaker section of society to help them some seats are reserved for them so that they can get admission even if their percentage is low.
Faculty :
The faculty of our college were very good at their skill of educating students , some teachers were excellent in it but we all know that every family has one blackship so you may find one or two in our college too though it was completely my personal opinion others may find him/her interesting and also may like their teaching style cause perception differs.
