Remarks :

Nothing to say. There is nothing to sat about positive and negative about college. Its okay with the college and have a good faculties in college. Some faculties are friendly and secure. Total environment is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mechanical engineering is a good course in b tech and its good exam structure contains internal exams and university exams conducted by KTU university. Exam is written exam. And there is no online exam

Placement Experience :

Yes. college provides internship program once. but least the activities. small rated companies are coming for college to take placement and etc. and also college provide some aptitude class for students

College Events :

Mostly celebration in our college is dull and desperate. There are lots of rules and regulation for celebrating. And we are not able to celebrate every special days. Arts and sports are happening.sometimes annual programs too

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is not feasible. Now a days engineering fees are less in several colleges due to lack of students. And sometimes it gets expensive for a middle class family. And fees structure for us is a bit expensive

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship are not provided by our college. i had applied for scholarship, but that was rejected due to don't know reasons. Scholarship. Sometime if scholarship is provided. Then it can be useful to some students

Campus Life :

Not great. But okay. we dont have a good ground for activites. And sports are happening by the scheduled way. Labs have laboratory machines and its fine. But we dont have a good ground to set, but fine

Hostel Facilities :

Not a hostler.Hostels provide lower-priced, sociable accommodation where guests can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed, in a dormitory and share a bathroom, lounge and sometimes a kitchen. Rooms can be mixed or single-sex, and private rooms may also be available

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are busy with their life to get placed in any company and to have a better future. Some seniors are taking a post degree for a better educational quality. and heard about some have placed

Admission :

Enquired at college administration and reviewed about admission on courses and took admission on mechanical engineering. I was not aware of merit list.and finally i joined in simat

Good.At the liberal arts college where I used to work, we did some of our most interesting teaching in the context of academic advising. Each faculty member had five to six nonmajor advisees and a dozen upper-level major advisees. Advising meant having a lot of conversations, ostensibly about credits, requirements and major

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
