Remarks :

Well equiped faculties and provide lot of placement facilities. And due to this tight schedule there is bit lack of freedom. At hostels we need to submit our phones during study time and no phone is allowed to the campus also exams are conducted at regular time period.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Engineering course is one among the best course in the world. Also if passed out without supply, for sure job is there for you. As am in KTU University, there will be two series exam in each semesters that will be added as internals and semester exams at the end of each semesters for a mark of 100

Placement Experience :

Yea ! Placements are occuring at regular intervals. College authorities are inviting well known companies to recruit the students . Moreover they give training to the students as one among the class period. Even a placement cell is there to help students. They do promote intership.

College Events :

They do conduct invited talks usually. 1. Onam Celebration 2. Christmas Celebration 3. Annual sports meet 4. Thandava( Cultural fest) 5. Swastika (Tech Fest) These are the main events at our college. The mech branch sometimes conduct some other programs. And ECE dept conduct national level project presentation

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yea ! Fee structure is feasible. If we are an entrance merit the fee is only 8000. And there is consideration for SC/ST. And they do conduct scholarship exams. And according to the grades, there will reductions.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Yea ! College do conduct scholarship at every year. And there will be reductions upto 10000rs. These reductions are based on individual grades and will be there for the whole 4years. This is only for the first years and will be there till 4th year.

Campus Life :

There are well equiped lab facilities. With latest technology equipments also for each lab there will an individual lab instrutor. And in the case of sports they do encourage all sports. Espcially cricket football, table tennis, basket ball, volley ball etc and do have a PT trainer.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are all good. Well equiped with wifi facilities and bathroom and rooms are well cleaned. Bathrooms will be cleaned everyday. They also encourage study time in hostel. Also well equiped wardens are there to help students.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yea ! The alumni association has a group in college. At the time of certain programs like RYLA and all, half of the registration fee will be deducted from students while the other half will be taken from alumni fund. And more like that.

Admission :

I got 78% in +2 and wrote a scholarship exam of the college. Since i have B+ grade they contacted us. And due to my grades they selected me. Also went on amd admission process were cleared in a day within the college office

Faculty :

All are well educated and well known to the subjects. Moreover they spend an extra time of 30mins after the regular college time and any student can visit them at this time and clear there doubts. In this time all the faculties will be there. Also they use PPT presentstions for more understandings

The placement will be available from 6th semester onwards. Companies in techno park are mostly coming for placement in our collage. The average lpa is 2 and highest is like 10. Around 60% are getting placed. My plans is that for the time being if I get a placement i will for it and study extra with that job

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
