Remarks :

The college offers a good infrastructure. The faculty is also good. Maintains a good administration and offers a good atmosphere. The only Negative that I find is the sometimes students feel pressurised.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Currently btech in Kerala is maintained by ktu university. The curriculum is good but the exams are tough and valuations are of poor grades and not well maintained, students fail in subjects and afterwards when they approach for revaluation they passes.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the college offers placements and interships every year. Special programs are conducted for the technical knowledge improvements and gives training for interviews and for placementz. Each year dozens of students got placed.

College Events :

Every year techfest, sports meet, artsfest, are conducted also department wise programs are conducts. And programs by ieee etc and intercolege fest are also conducts also programs by nss is conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible. Scholarship are given for the needed ones. When comparing to other colleges. The fee is feasible and affordable. Merit seats, management seats and nri seats are available.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Scholarships are given a special exam is conducted for the scholarship and from that students with good ranks are short listed and fee concession and scholarships are given as per the ranks obtained. Also loan is also accepted.

Campus Life :

Yes, the college provides an excellent lab facilities with high speed internet. Cricket teams, basketball teams, food teams are created and proper training is giving. Also competition are conducted.

Hostel Facilities :

The college provides a decent hostel facilities. The hostel is provided with high speed wifi internet connectivity and the one that to be pointed out is the cafeteria and canteen. College providez wide range of food items of good quality and taste.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the senior students are helpfull. We has a good network of relationship between alumni and senior. They give guidance for our carrier and helps us out problems that they faced and also helps us in our academic.

Admission :

I got admission through management quota. And the fee structure is fixed by the basis of marks obtained in 12th. Also special concession is given to students who has a poor background. Also scholarship are also given to students.

Faculty :

Has a well efficient faculty. Teachers with good knowledge and experience work here. Most of them are friendly minded and regularly keep 8 and touch with students and helps a lot in academic and helps a lot.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
