Remarks :

Noting as such, college has been a good platform for me to experience my interests and hobbies, but at the same time has given me hardships which has kind of given me prior experience on how harsh the corporate world is gonna be.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum seems fine except for that the grading system is really bad , as people just get 7 or 8 as an example and nothing in between. Now suppose a person misses 8 pointer by a mark, he’ll land up at 7 but he would have got way more than the requisite marks for 7.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are very good for the circuit branches, but at the same time for the core branches it’s pretty bad. And few people are actually good at finances and management subjects, but the companies that actually perform that never recruit people for that profile and want only for the coding profile. Yes college has good internships also but again for circuit branches. The same goes for the stipend , they are really good for circuit branches and very very less for the core branches.

College Events :

We have a lot of events happening in our college, everything run by the students and the committee assigned. Two of the major events are our cultural fest called incident which is the South India’s 2nd biggest cultural fest and our 2nd biggest feat is the technical fest called the engineer.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is pretty expensive for the normal general students as we need to pay almost more than 2lakhs per year only for the academics and the hostel , where the hostel mess food is really bad.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don’t know of any as of yet, but I heard for the ews people the college provides a really good scholarship which covers their academic fees and few of the extra expenses. This has been really helpful for those who are actually from a poor background.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are really good in our campus, including the labs as they provide us with lot of skills. And the sports are also really good in our campus, and we also have competitions frequently which keeps our mind fresh apart from the academics. But gym section maintenance is really bad and so goes for the tennis courts. Rest all are good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is pretty good but the food is really bad and the maintenance of the hostel is also miserable. The facilities are also really bad, even if we complain about something in the portal regarding the problems we’ve been facing, there are a few times they come to resolve it and even if they repair them, it’s hardly feels any better.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network and senior students connections are really good. We get to be in touch with our seniors quite frequently and it helps us in our academics as we get requisite knowledge over the subject and the professors handling the subject along with the exam patterns.

Admission :

We have a national based examination called JEE Mains, where few of the top aced students in the examination get selected based on merit. Only the top few people of ths examination get selected to this college.

Faculty :

Most of them are experienced professors and have/had a huge project under them. But most of the times or almost all the time it’s the assistant professor who takes up our classes. Except for a few professors who actually take up teaching sincerely.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
