My college- ICT

Remarks :

ICT is very good. It has research, learning, sports, and hostel facilities. If we count the empty space on the campus then it is very less because of the MOU s of ICT. Many new constructions are going on in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is different than any other college's MSc course. We have 6 papers plus 1 practical. The weightage of each theory paper is 50 and for practical it's 100. We have a mid-semester exam of 15 marks and an end semester of 25 and 10 marks are for class tests, presentations, etc. For this 10 marks instructor can set an exam of 50 marks also but at the end, he converts it into 10. Also for practical we have a total of 4 viva sessions throughout the semester for 50 marks and 20 marks are reserved for the conduct, punctuality, and journal and 30 marks are for the final exam. All the exam timetables come at least before 20 days of the exam.

Placement Experience :

Each year college conducts a placement cell. Most of the highly reputed MNC come to the campus. Basically, they prefer Technical graduates but science graduates also have chances to be placed. An internship is compulsory for all the students for MSc 8 weeks internship and for M.tech 6 month internship period is allotted. One can find their company directly or one can go through institute also. I'm in the first year of my MSc and not went any internship as it is scheduled in the summer holidays. Also, the stipend of the internship depends on the respective company.

College Events :

We celebrated the complete month For the Freshers in which every day there were some events scheduled. Now we celebrated Vortex which is Asia's largest chemfest. Some more departmental events and cultural nights are scheduled in the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of ict is around 83000 for Mtech and around 56000 for MSc but this amount is worth it. Because the way they teach is marvelous. Initially, people feel this is expensive but later they also notice that this is worth it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College doesn't give any scholarships but it provides scholarships through various government schemes and through various funding agencies. It has a very strong tie-up with companies. sometimes that companies also provide scholarships for bright students.

Campus Life :

Each department has its own aura. Every professor of dept is active. In monsoon, trekk was organized by the ICT sports saga under the technological association's guidance. Each n every event in college is guided by TA. And ICT has highly equipped labs I don't think any other chemical institute has such labs. Some labs are built for special purposes like the Nano drug delivery lab, NMR lab, dyestuff lab.

Alumni/Alumna :

Actually, I don't know personally any alumni. But alumni of ict has their own group called UAA means udct alumni association and they conduct many programs and many guest lectures in the college as many guests are alumni of ict itself.

Admission :

I've given an entrance test conducted by ICT for MSc physics. It was in June and the syllabus was complete physics done in graduation. I passed the cutoff criteria decided by the college and took admission on the given date. All the info related to admission and entrance exam was put on the college's official site.

Faculty :

Each and every faculty is highly educated. They are doctorates in their respective subjects. They motivate their students in research and development as we have 5 to 6 laboratories of physics (which includes Nanotechnology also)in which most are highly equipped with the latest machines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

That course gave me a good career option. I got job in a private school with a better salary but in IT section it is difficult to get a job by this course because it is not a technical educational course that's why I rated only 5 for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally liked the subject I chose for my post-graduation studies. The teachers prepare us for the exam in class itself. They cover the syllabus and take our practice of the exam and gaining knowledge. The timing of the exam is a little issue in our college. The college provides us with only 2 hours 30 minuutes timing for 60 marks theory exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Distance learning allows all age group of people to enroll their higher education. Financial constraints are one of the main reason I chose distance education. Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

Remarks:

The college management is very approachable and helpful. We have an email-based network for direct referring of our grievances. The college lacks in only one thing and, that is, proper recognition amongst the masses. The reason might be because it's not a technical one and it's also young and only 13 years old.

Remarks:

The college aims to provide students the opportunity to visit diverse countries and campuses. The objective of this effort is to provide students an opening to gain real life exposure to the cultural, social, industrial, educational & historical aspects of each other’s countries. I would recommend this college to everyone.
