Postive : 1.high quality education, 2.lot of placement and job opportunities, 3.extra curricular activities, 4.best library, 5.good hostel, 6.good canteen. Negative : 1.long distance to nearest town, 2.some types of strict policies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is outcome based. To get in depth knowledge in a field the college is providing lot of practical sessions. Also the college is encouraging student startups by providing fablabs and financial aid. All the exams are monitored and controlled by KTU University.

Placement Experience :

Ofcourse they provide lot of placement and job opportunities. This college is the top among kerala private self financing colleges in case of placements. Major recruiters include TCS, Wipro, infosys, SAP, Microsoft, intel, ustglobal etc. college interships are provided but without stipend.

College Events :

There are lot of events like college arts fest(Arangu),sports meet, tech fest(nautilus), ieee meetings,Nss activities, inter college arts and tech fest (bharatham), Onam xmas celebs, branchwise project exhibitions etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is actually provided by kerala govt, so for all self financing colleges across kerala have almost same fee Structure. Additional fees are like bus fee, hostel fee, lab fee etc. Also this college is naac accredited college hence lot of fee waivers are available.

Campus Life :

Yes, there lot of extra curricular activities and sports activities are provided in the college like football team, basketball, vollyball, table tennis, cricket, badminton, physical edu, NSS, IEEE, ASME, etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yea, there are alumni associations in the college. So annually there are alumni meetings and discussions.also there is alumni sports group like football team etc. Also seniors students are so friendly.

Admission :

I got admission in this college based on KEAM entrance exam score. The kerala govt publishes these merit list based on entrance exam score and +2 score. There will be some cutoffs provided by the college. Those who are eligible will be selected.

Faculty :

Well qualified and educated faculties who having min 2years of experience are only selected to this college. Due to this they provide experienced quality teaching methods. By providng tutorial sessions, practical sessions etc. Also they provide special remedial classes for students who were backward in studies.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
