Review of Pramukh Swami Medical College

Our college has the best teaching facilities provided in entire state. Only problems are high fee structure with compulsory mess and hostel for students staying in hostel. There are also less patients compared to other colleges.

My curriculum is the best. We have yearly final exam. Our college also takes internal exam, ward end exams, and many other minor exams. We get to learn a lot from the faculties during lectures which are taken regularly. Those teachings help us a lot in exams.

Yes our college provides internships facility which help to expose to more practical life. We get very little stipend ?5000 a month which is very less as compared to other medical colleges of the state.

Every year our college organises freshers week for the new students. There is an annual function every year named Horizon in which every medical students are allowed to participate. Minor fees are charged for outsiders.

Our college is the most expensive college of our state. We have ?6,38,000 for merit students, ?12,00,000 for management students, USS 25,000 for nri students. These fees are not at all feasible for normal middle class family.

Scholarship are started bt government from our batch only. MYSY scholarship is provides by government to students whose parent’s income are below ?6,00,000 per annum. Girls are provided full fees return under this scheme.

Yes our college has all the facilities of sports - basketball, football, table tennis, cricket, etc. We also gym facilities in the campus itself. Outsiders are charged double fees per year while students are charged minimal fees.

We’ve very old hostel which is combined with bad taste mess. Hostel and mess are compulsory for students staying in hostel. New hostel is under construction with best facilities a/c, attached toilet bathroom, 3 students sharing but same bad mess.

Our campus is the only campus with 0% raging. Seniors are infact very helpful. They help every student during hard time not only exams. There is also alumni association of our college in which students from first batch of our college are also there.

I got admission on the basis of merit list which is combined from average semester result and GUJCET result. Government college and semi government college are filled first and than private colleges are filled.

Ou faculties are the most intelligent of all as they themselves are graduated from the renowned colleges of our country. They teach us both theoretically and practically. We get to learn everything from them. All of them have very helpful and caring nature
