Remarks :
Clubs and societies are very much active through out the year. Placement scenarios are quite good. Still product based companies are nt coming to our college though. Academics are good enough to get placed.for Higher studies it won't help though
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good though. We do have eight semesters in four years. each semester is divided in to two exams i.e mid sem and end sem. Practical or lab exams are included in end sem. Theory papers contain 4 Grade point while practicals are of 2 grade point.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job varies every year but 80 to 90% get placed in various companies. Yes our college provides internships. We had done our internship at DRDO chandipur through our college only. And our seniors had their internship in CDAC , pune last year.
College Events :
Many events are there in our college throughout the year. Just on 10th of nov2019 we are going to organize a global event called TEDxVSSUT for the second time in our university. Other events are like techno management fest , cultural fest , Entrepreneurship summit , sports , seminars , MUN , workshops etc
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Quite feasible if you are getting a fee Weaver in your college. TFW schemes help students to give only 50% of the normal fees of a general student. But the fees in very less as compared to many private colleges
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college has a very good relationship with state bank of india , burla. Student newly joined can apply loan over here only with a very good interest. we have a separate section of scholarship , where all the details are being shared to every students.
Campus Life :
Except studies , we do have cultural clubs and sports clubs.some of are really active and preferably good though. We do various competition in a year in dance , music , acting etc. Cricket and badminton has a very strong fan base here
Hostel Facilities :
I am not staying in hostel. I am a day scholar. But still the i heard from my friends that hostel facilities are not satisfying though. Sanitary is a big problem now a days , they are not. that much hygienic.
Alumni/Alumna :
As this is a Government institution. Students do their stuffs by their own so obviously they get a lot of help from their seniors and respected alumnis too.Every point of time seniors and alumnis united to solve any type of issues
Admission :
First after 12th , we had to crack joint entrance examination , and on the basis of rant we got selected in VSSUT , burla. We had applied through odisha joint entrance through JEE rank examination that contains the colleges in odisha only.
Faculty :
Faculties of our college are average.lack of professors are there but still we have a. Very good bunch of assistant and associate professors are there. Their teaching process is too good and understandable.
