Remarks :

Over good college in terms of studies living conditions and extracurricular activities, they character will get completely changed after completing the course and will be able to treat and behave in good manner with every human being. Over all you will be a good human being after completing 4 years of your course

Course Curriculum Overview :

Practical training was poor , need to give more importance to practical knowledge other than theoretical studies.Teaching pattern is also not so efficient to make the student understand about the current updated technologies and its practical implementations.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities were very poor , only a few companies conduct campus placements in our campus and out of which most of them are in IT sector , and are startups salary provided by them are poor and very low in industry

College Events :

Events are conducted by college union , which are selected by students through election, I was part of this college union by SFI , all the events both Technical and cultural festivals were conducted in very nicely and our Technical festival name is ADVAYA

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is very low as its a government college Yearly fees is only 6200 out of which 4000 needs to be paid in 1st semester and balance 2200 in even semester. Fees is very low when compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Many scholarship options are available and these are selected on the basis of merit Education loans are also available, but no need of any loan as the fees is very low that can be afforded by everyone.

Campus Life :

More time and space are available for students for participating and conducting extracurricular activities and programs, university arts festival , college arts and cultural programs, Technical festival etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Its of no use, I think the alumni network is weak and poor and they are not that much supportive or helpful for any juniors for getting placed or in development of college or nothing. Most of the students are not interested at all.

Admission :

Kerala entrance exam 2012, Will be purely based on merit only through kerala entrance examination conducted by kerala government which makes a rank list base on the marks obtained in entrance exam and your 12th marks.

Faculty :

Permanent staffs are good , but guest lectures were not skilled, internal marks were affected due to this guest lecturers , with out taking classes and giving necessary trainings they are reducing the internal marks which affect students career and percentage of marks they they scored

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
