Remarks :

My motivation to choose this college was the passion for engineering. I had a dream to become an engineer after clearing jee mains I chose this college because it has a big reputation in the northeast. This is the 2nd most popular a good college in northeast India plus I had the opportunity to stay at my hometown.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Just like most of the regular college's nit, Agartala had a boring course structure which includes assignment(super boring- includes copying from the book and paste in your copy), test after test, and mostly boring classes. faculties were not upto the mark. some (very few) teachers were very friendly but most of them just dont care about students they just come to class and read through the slides.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I opted for an internship at bsnl. that didnt pay any stipend. finding an internship is a little bit tough. you have to maintain a good academic score to get one of those also, you have to maintain a good relationship with teachers. they will surely recommend you to any good industry.

Placement Experience :

If you are a little bit serious you can get a job easily. various company visited our campus .thats a lot. the highest package was 32 lpa @ amazon. alumni are not that much active. most of my batchmates are placed in it sector. some students are planning to do startups they are in progress.

College Events :

Every year my college organise programmes like tech fest, advaitam, udaan, holi, eid, Janmashtami, etc. The hostel life is too much colourful you enjoy your hostel life a lot. in every one or two month you will find some extra curricular activities going on. you may not enjoy your academics a lot here but you can surely develop your personality and get exposed to numerous experiences in your hostel life. and here in our college, you won't find any type of ragging. Nit Agartala is ragging free.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I availed scholarships and almost everyone gets a 100% (of tution fee) scholarship. if you are from a minority then you can get a 120% scholarship. I did not avail any loans but a lot of my friends took loans. you can also avail instant loan during admission.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is too good. you get a swimming pool, basketball ground, cricket ground, football, badminton, td/squash basically every sport you can think of. it has the best quality gym separately for boys and girls, everyone gets their personal room in the hostel from the first year itself. mess food is also average but if you dont as you can always opt for restaurants. North Indian, South Indian all kinds of food are available. every department has some huge buildings. the college campus is too huge. and takes only 15 rupee to go the city from the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

yes i availed hostel facilities. rooms were too clean just like new. daily they maintain cleanliness in the hostel and in every summer they repaint the rooms. best thing is you can have single room or double room its your choice but the cost will vary accordingly. you will have high speed ethernet connection (8-9mbps), or you can also avail wifi facility for free( they will include the fee in your hostel fee).

highest number of students got placed through my branch. the placment ratio is excellent for my department. average package is around 7lpa and the highest was 52lpa. you can opt research after completion of your degree in the filed of electronic and semiconductor industry

NIT Agartala :- an honest review

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement at end of their 3rd yr. Google, Amazon, Zomato, and Microsoft made near about 15-16 offers and mass recruitment companies also came with huge offers of 80-85%. I hope to get a good placement

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onward one can sit on campus, and after getting a BTech degree student can go for a job. Wipro, Jio etc company have come. One student should have about 8 pointers for a company job. I haven't got for company job as I am willing to give the state TCS exam, as I want to become a people servent, by becoming a TCS Officer.

It's a good college. Could do better with campusing

Remarks:

With a little more campusings and placement opportunities the students could do a lot better. Since, it's a government college with NBA accreditation, the students deserve a little more attentions from the employers.
