Remarks :
SD college is just perfect and flawless. I would suggest any student who is thinking or confused about their future studies, must keep SD College in mind. Everything of SD is appreciable. Just go for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is superb. Basically, there are fixed no. Of classes to be attended in a particular session. Exams are done on semester basis. One semester consists of 6 months. Attendance in computerized. University roll numbers are provided to the students before exams only if they have 75%+ attendance.
Placement Experience :
Yes, my college does provide placements and job opportunities. Rest, depends on the capability of an individual. A person's skills matter most. And yes, my college makes a student enough capable to crack any interview.
College Events :
College fests and university fests are the most important part of my college. A student can miss a class, but he/she can never miss fest. Fests are really enjoyable and provide opportunity to come forward for the deserving candidates. Fests plus any other event like TedX is just something which cannot be missed.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure of SD is really feasible. A student can even earn by doing any part time job and pay it, after that he can also save some money. Yes, it is that much feasible. If I talk about general B.A., it costs 21000-25000 per year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My collge provides scholarship to deserving students. And in India, honestly, deserving are the ones who are SC, ST, or OBC. This is not at all a good gesture. Even in other colleges too, the criteria is same, which is very disturbing.
Campus Life :
Activities, labs, sports, etc. are like peefect. SD college Excels in every Field. Students are given great opportunities. Willing and deserving ones can really showcast their skills and talents. That is all I know about it.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opt for hostel. Still, I can give an estimate. It costs 80k per year.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior students are really helpful, whenever a new student enters the college, basically the party members are standing everywhere in the college. They wish the visitors and help them in any possible way.
Admission :
I had an award winning educational background. So, I easily got admission in this college. It was on merit basis, and I scored 94% in my class 12. I had to fill up a form initially, then counselling was done on the prescribed date. Finally I filled up the fees. And this was all about my adminission process.
Faculty :
Faculty of SD College is best in its own way. Teachers pay full concentration towards overall development of a student. Personal attention is given to the students. They really show concern. I don't think there is any match of SD college faculty among all the colleges in tricity.
