Remarks :

Overall, I have positive feelings about the college. I would definitely recommend it if you can make it to this College after clearing the so called JEE Advanced exams. It's better than most colleges in India when it comes to infrastructure and placements and even future study opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The four year course is divided into 8 semesters. Each semester involving 6 courses. So a total of 48 courses throughout 4 years. The first year courses are mostly related to previous topics learned till 12th standard. The first year courses are mostly common for all branch students. 2nd year onwards, the courses turn towards the advanced side, mostly related to the department in which you are getting your degree. Every semester you have to appear for three exams in every course, 2 minor exams and 1 major exam. Apart from this regular quizzes happen during class hours.

Placement Experience :

The placement and internship opportunities are quite good here especially when compared to private colleges. Almost 85 percent of students were placed in the top companies in the on campus placement season, 2018 with an average salary of around 14.5 lacs. Our College also provides on campus internship opportunities for 3rd year students. I will be appearing for the on campus internship exams this semester.

College Events :

Every year few inter College and intra College fests are organised by our colleges. The inter College fest named "Ignus" of the biggest and most widely celebrated event on our College. Around 8 thousand visitors were involved in Ignus, 2018. Apart from this, intra culture fest named Spandan is celebrated at a grand level. In all of the fests we have few technical and cultural events along with some competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible when we talk about the facilities that are provided. Most colleges charge more fees and provide very less facilities. Every semester you have to pay Rs. 1 lakh as tuition fee and extra around 30 thousand for mess fees and other conveniences like hostel etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You can get interest free loans for paying tuition fees under some government scheme in SBI. You can also get full tuition fee waiver if your family income is less than 1 lakh Rs. You will get 2 third tuition fee waiver if you family income is between 1 lakh and 5 lakh.

Campus Life :

In first year, there is a compilation physical activity course called as CPA, compulsary physical activities. You have to clear this course worth at least 85 percent attendance. There are also various games sports teams which you can join if you wish.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I have opted for hostel facilities. I would rate 10/10 for hostel infrastructure. You get single occupancy rooms each with an air conditioner. Every hostel has a Gym, a reading room, a TV room. You also get a bed, a table, a chair and an almirah.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We have our alumni spread across the top renowned companies and they are quite helpful. Some of our alumni have done great start ups as well. Some of our alumni are pursuing higher education from some of the most renowned universities in the world.

Admission :

Appeared in JEE mains 2017, then upon qualifying JEE mains, appeared in JEE advanced and qualified it successfully with an AIR of under 3000. And then got selected for a seat in IIT Jodhpur Computer Science Branch via JoSAA counselling.

Faculty :

The faculties mostly have their p.hd degrees from one or the other IITs. Almost all of them have good research experiences. They have their research papers on the topics they are proficient at. Sometimes their teaching style seems a bit boring, that means it requires a lot of concentration.

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I am studying right now is biomedical engineering, this course is not that famous among engineering students, but this course a lot of power, it is different from any other engineering courses, I found this course very interesting and in the upcoming years this course is gonna be a masterpiece says my teachers. The curriculum certainly helds a lot of workshops which help students interact with the teachers and each other and increase there communication skill and analytical thinking, they give students the opportunity to organise the events to boost up there confidence and prepare them for real world. I would suggest to introduce more interdisciplinary courses such as data science with humanities or environmental science with policy studies. The frequency is like there are 2 continuous assessment per semester and end semester examination at the end of the semester, I think it's quite good the internal assessment helps learn the difficulty of the course.

Placement Experience:

Companies started visiting campus and hiring students from the 7th semester. Many companies like Infosys, Walmart, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, and Wipro come every year to hire students from CS, IT, and other BTech branches. The package offered starts from 2.5 lakhs and goes up to 30 lakhs. 90% got placements every year for the CS branch with an average package of 5 lakhs. Many students opt for higher studies also.

Placement Experience:

JECRC provides a lot of opportunities but it is totally us how we grab those opportunities. This year over 2000+ students got campus placements and the companies who took our students were Amazon, Cisco ISRO TCS, etc. Many students were placed in Amazon with 44 LPA which was a great achievement for JECRC.
