Which college is better, IIIT Sri City or IIIT Guwahati?
IIIT Guwahati is better than IIIT Sri City. It has an excellent placement record. As per the placement statistics of recent years, the average and highest CTC offered in campus placement are INR 11.59 LPA and INR 32 LPA, respectively. Companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, UpGrad, Toppr Technologies, Tekion, Wipro, etc. are the major recruiters that take part in IIIT Guwahati placements.

IIIT Guwahati is the better option. There are several points which prove that the college has set its benchmark really high.
Firstly, the institute has its own director, Dr. Gautam Barua who is first-hand in setting up new colleges. Earlier, he was the director of IIT Guwahati for around 10 years and mentor director of IIT Patna.
Coming on to the next important point is the faculties of IIIT Guwahati. The faculties at IIIT Guwahati are gems. Professors like Dip Sankar Bannerjee and Prof. Gautam Barua give their best at teaching. You will always learn something extra from them. They both are the most hardworking and extremely experienced faculty of IIIT Guwahati
The third important factor is location. In northeast India, Guwahati is the largest city plus the campus is located 4 km away from Guwahati Airport which makes transportation easy. And yes, both the campuses will soon have their permanent campuses.
