Analyzing the placement scenario of CSE in SOE CUSAT through the statistics is not right because the figures don’t convey the exact scenario. This is mainly because of the improving crowd quality and cutoffs. Additionally, the institute has witnessed top-notch companies like Oracle, Google, and other e-commerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal.

But the students fail to secure good packages because the ones that are good in programming fail to meet the CGPA cutoff while the ones that quality the cutoff don’t clear the interview due to poor programming skills. However, some exceptionally good students get placed in companies like IBM with around INR 36 LPA.

SOE CUSAT placements are pretty good for CSE. The placement rate for the branch is around 100%. In the campus placement drive, CSE, and IT branch students bag the highest number of placements with cushy salary packages. The average CTC offered for CSE is around INR 5 LPA. TCS Ninja, Infosys, Wipro, etc. take part in the placement drive.

Placements in CUSAT for Computer Science department is good and many students. The institute is providing nearly 100 % placements for all students and is constantly improving. This is evident by the increase in the cut-off scores for the program in recent years.

Placement Statistics:

According to the placement highlights of recent years, the average package hovers around 5 LPA.
Some of the companies that visit the campus include L&T, IBM, Musigma, Cisco Infosys, TCS, Oracle, etc. Some of the students use these opportunities to bag very good package in reputed organizations.

CGPA Rule:

Many reputed MNCs visit the campus placement of CUSAT, such as Oracle, Google, and E-Commerce Giants like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal. But very few students qualify for the interview and secures recruitment. The main reason for this is that most good programmers do not qualify for the 8.5 CGPA criteria. And students who qualify the CGPA criteria lack the coding skill.

Although there are exceptions and many students get good placement offers from on-campus as well as off-campus placements. So, do not worry about the placement at CUSAT for CSE.
