The UG placement is over 82% to date.
The M.Tech placement is over 84% to date.

IIT Bhubaneswar has had excellent placement trends over the years, especially for BTech CSE. Over the years, the major recruiters at IIT Bhubaneswar for CSE have been Adobe, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, and the likes. From 2017 to 2019, BTech CSE was the branch with the highest placement rate.

The year-wise placement statistics for CSE are as follows.

CSE Placements 2020:

Now, in 2020 the placement data for CSE is as follows,

The total placement average for BTech CSE was 97%. It is the branch with the second-highest placement rate this year.
The average package received by the students of CSE was 20.95 LPA.
A lot of MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Mathworks, Samsung India, HCL, Oracle, Cognizant, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, etc were a part of this year's placements including a few PSUs as well, which include Oil India, HPCL, etc.

CSE has the best placement rate compared to other branches at IIT Bhubaneswar. It is also the branch that receives the highest average CTC each year. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the placement has suffered this year. However, it will get better after the pandemic.
