MBA from SVKM's NMIMS (Graduated 2018)

In case you are not able to make it into the top 6 National Law Universities, considering NMIMS law school is definitely a good choice. The school has updates to the semester system which earlier was a trimester one.

Faculty: The institute is expanding at a fast rate and its faculty is also changing, bringing in more dynamic staff. The faculty is proficient in their respective fields and adopts the best pedagogy.

Fees: The total NMIMS B.A.L.L.B. fees for this session is INR 5.1 L - 15 L.

Hostel fees: Boys- INR 1.60 L - 2.35 L/yr; Girls- IN 1.60 L - 2.35 L/yr.

However, the hostels are highly not recommended owing to the following reasons

  • Only 6 seats for law students
  • Non A/C accommodation
  • Strict rules and timings

Is Asian LAW College Noida a good choice for a five-year law degree?

AD
Anuradha Dixit Posted On : September 7th, 2021
Studies at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University

Asian Law College Noida is not that well-known. It is a 3rd tier private law college. Asian Law College also has a hefty fee structure.

You should try other colleges such as BVP and IPU instead of Asian Law College. You can even apply for Lloyd or Nirma as they are better-known law institutions than Asian Law College, Noida.

Asian Law College is a well-known law college, so you should try to find a better alternative.

What is the scope of BA LLB through Lucknow university?

AD
Arnav Dasgupta Posted On : October 4th, 2021
Studied at National PG College,Lucknow (2018)

BA LLB is the study of law with few subjects of arts related to legal study. If you want to become a renowned lawyer then you have to implement your knowledge in practical situations.

  • The faculty at Lucknow University is good but it’s best if you make a habit of learning things on your own. It’s better not to expect much from the professors.
  • The campus and library is huge. You can certainly use that to your advantage.
  • If you want good career opoortunities, start acquiring practical experience. It’s best if you can intern for a lawyear. Learn to draft, work on your English, Hindi and communication skills. If you don’t understand few things here and there you can rely on technology.

Lucknow University is a good institute for a BA LLB, but you will have to make the most of your time there.

Here are some points to consider while making your decision:

Is it worth spending around 12 lakhs for BALLB in Nirma University?

AB
Akansha Bajaj Posted On : May 15th, 2021
Studied B.A. in L.L.B. from Nirma University, graduated in 2020

The answer depends on you entirely. You can give Nirma University a slip if you are getting offers from NLUs. But if you are not getting the top NLUs, Nirma University is one of the best private universities out there.

Nirma University promises to give the students better placements than some of the lower-tier NLUs. Nirma University is high on discipline and most of its students dislike this about the university.

What you should remember is that there is not much difference between how much you will pay if you end up studying in an NLU, and how much you will pay if you study at Nirma University in five years.

Nirma University is not as popular in the area of law as the top-tier NLUs even though it is pretty popular if we consider private institutes. If you have the skills and knowledge appropriate for placement, you will be placed at Nirma University. But getting good placements depends a lot on how much effort you put in.

If you work hard, 12 lakhs will definitely be worth it.

How much marks in AILET assures you a seat(Gen) in NLU Delhi for BALLB?

AA
Ankit Agrawal Posted On : April 5th, 2023
Studied at National Law University,Delhi (2017)

NLU Delhi conducts the AILET for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programs, including the BA LLB program. The AILET exam is highly competitive, and the cutoff marks vary from year to year, depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the availability of seats.

It is difficult to predict a specific score that would guarantee admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LLB program, as the cutoff marks may vary from year to year. However, based on past trends and previous year's cutoffs, a general idea of the cutoff marks can be obtained.

Here are the cutoff marks for AILET for the past three years for General Category

  • AILET 2021: 72 marks out of 150 marks
  • AILET 2020: 86 marks out of 150 marks
  • AILET 2019: 72 marks out of 150 marks

It's important to note that these are just the cutoff marks and meeting them does not guarantee a seat in NLU Delhi. Admission is also based on other factors like the availability of seats, reservation policy, and performance in the interview round (if applicable).

So, while no fixed score guarantees admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LLB program, aiming to score around 80-90 marks or above out of 150 marks in AILET exam would significantly increase your chances of getting a seat. However, it is always advisable to aim for the highest possible score and perform well in the interview round to maximize your chances of getting admission into NLU Delhi.
