IIT Jammu is situated in Jagti village, located north of Jammu city. Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur is the director of IIT Jammu. Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur is a Ph.D. from the University of Southampton, UK, and he has also done an M.E. (CSE) from IISc Bangalore. He got a B.E. (ECE) from JNV University, Jodhpur.His teaching experience is in computer networks, operating systems, and VLSI design.
