Did anyone get their degree, mark sheets or transcripts online from AKTU, Lucknow? How much time did it take to reach you via post after the payment was done?

BTech Mechanical Engineering from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (Graduated 2017)

My sister received her B.Tech. degree from AKTU via post.

  • She went to the AKTU student cell in person

  • Paid the fees for the degree

  • She received an envelope over which she wrote the address of the receiving post.

  • She received the document within 15-20 days.

To track your document contact the AKTU grievance cell.

Note- In some cases, a NOC from your college will be required stating that your institution has no issue regarding you receiving the degree directly from AKTU.

What are the best mathematics books for UPTU or AKTU?

AV
Atul Verma Posted On : November 17th, 2022
B.Tech. from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (Graduated 2019)

The external exams at AKTU are more like CBSE exams as they don’t put much effort in changing the pattern of the paper. The purpose of university exams is to check your knowledge in a particular subject and not compete. So they don’t give out of syllabus questions.

You don’t have to refer to high-tech competitive books. The best books for these exams are:

  • Engineering Mathematics by N.P. Bali

  • Introduction to Engineering Mathematics by H.K. Das

  • Previous year papers

  • Quantum Publication

This study material is enough to get you well through the AKTU exams.

Can I get admission in AKTU Lucknow?

PG
Pulkit Gupta Posted On : November 17th, 2022
B.Tech in Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (Graduated 2019)

If you meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and pass their entrance admission assessment, you will definitely get admission in AKTU Lucknow. Visit the university’s official website to know the date of the entrance exam you are willing to pursue. They generally conduct a statewide exam, earlier known as the State Entrance Exam or SEE.

AKTU has both private as well as public educational institutes under it. If you want offers from well reputed colleges you will have to score wel in the assessment of the respective course.

There are 2 scenarios for admissions:

  • Either you get admitted through a regular counseling process. This will require you to pay the stipulated fees prescribed by the university. These seats are often referred to as government seats.

  • Or if you fail to get through the regular counseling process, try to get admission to the college of your choice through the respective institute’s management quota route.

But the fees of these seats are around twice or thrice the original fees.

Does the UFM remark (after the declaration of UFM result) disappear from the result of AKTU after clearing the backlog?

RV

Yes, the UFM or Unfair Means remark will be mentioned in the new mark sheet you receive after clearing your backlogs. But on the Oneview result page of the AKTU website, the UFM remark will always be mentioned.

But the good news is that your career will not be much affected by this remark. All you have to do is clear all subjects and score an aggregate of 65%.

My cousin had back in Maths 2 of the second semester but was able to clear it and scored 74% in the final BTech degree marks.

Is an AKTU degree worth it?

RV
Ronak Verma Posted On : November 9th, 2022
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (2017)

The AKTU degree holds a lot of value. But in this era of neck-to-neck competition and an abundance of degree holders, its value has decreased.

To add worth to your degree, you can add skill certificates in any language like C, Java, or Python. You can also add certification in various skills like

  • Web Development

  • Web Design

  • IOT

  • Networking

  • Artificial intelligence

  • Machine learning

However, collecting too many skills might devalue your CV. Try to learn one or two skills and master those skills only. This will help you add value to your degree and get you the desired job.

What happens if someone misses all exams in a semester in AKTU?

NS
Nikita Srivastava Posted On : November 9th, 2022
Studied at APJ Abdul Kalam University

If you have missed all the exams in a semester in AKTU, you can appear for the same again in the next year. If you missed the 1st-semester exams then you are supposed to give them in the 3rd semester. Similarly, if you have missed 2nd-semester exams, have to give them in 4th semester.

All this considered, there is one very important point to know. In order to appear for the missed exam in the second year, you need to get passing marks in the first year (including both 1st and 2nd semesters). Unless you score passing marks you will not be promoted to the next year. You will have to repeat the first year in this case.

What if I am unable to clear my backlog after my 4th year of btech in aktu, what will be the procedure then?

AS
Aman Sharma Posted On : November 17th, 2022
Studied at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University

If you fail to clear your backlog after the 4th year of B.Tech. In AKTU, you will have to reappear for the backlog exams.

The major drawback is that the additional time you take to clear backlog exams will be mentioned in your Degree. For instance you took a year more to clear your backlog, your degree will show 5 years instead of 4.

This will affect you mr job prospects and career in the future so try your best to clear your backlog before the 4th year itself.

If I apply for a fee waiver seat in aktu and the 5% fee waiver seats get occupied then will I be treated as a general candidate or I will be out of counselling?

DK
Deep Kushwaha Posted On : November 9th, 2022
B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam University

Fee Waiver or FW seats are different from regular ones. You will have to give higher priority to seats with the FW option to opt for it.

The simple procedure to apply for TFW seats is as follows:

  1. The initial pages of the counseling form show the option ‘Will you opt for TFW seats?’. Tick it.

  2. Now you need to fill in the choices that prioritize TFW mentioned options.

This part is a bit tricky so I have used an example to make you understand better-

If you want CS>>EC in IET>>BIET>>KNIT then your choice should be filled in this manner:

  1. IET- CS(FW)

  2. BIET- CS (FW)

  3. KNIT- CS(FW)

  4. IET- EC(FW)

  5. BIET- EC(FW)

  6. KNIT- EC(FW)

  7. IET- CS

  8. BIET- CS

  9. KNIT- CS

  10. IET- EC

  11. BIET- EC

  12. KNIT- EC.

Placing your priorities in this manner will surely get you a fee-waiver seat.
