85 percentile CMAT score is good. However, admission to Welingkar or NL Dalmia depends on other factors like the number of applications, the cutoff scores for your desired programs, and the competition for those programs.

Welingkar and NL Dalmia are reputable B-schools. Their programs have different entry criteria and cutoff scores.

For their PGDM program, Welingkar School of Management requires an 80 percentile mark. For their PGDM program, NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research requires an 85 percentile score.

Thus, while your CMAT score of 225 is good, it is difficult to determine if you will get admitted to Welingkar or NL Dalmia without knowing the cutoff scores for the programs you are interested in and the number of candidates.

Check the admission standards and cutoff scores for the programs you're interested in at these institutes and apply appropriately. You could potentially apply to other B-schools with higher scores.

Which one is best: a PGDM from Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, an MMS in finance from NL Dalmia, or an MBA from PUMBA, Pune?

NL Dalmia has a specific focus on finance, which makes it a good option for candidates looking to specialize in finance. On the other hand, PUMBA offers a more general management education with a focus on practical learning and industry exposure.

BIMTECH, Greater Noida offers a good curriculum with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The institute has a strong industry connection and offers a variety of electives to choose from. However, its ranking is lower than NL Dalmia and PUMBA.
