What about the safety of female students at NIT in Arunachal Pradesh?

CM

B.Tech Computer Science, National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh (2014)

NIT Arunachal Pradesh is as safe as any other college in India. The institutes provide proper safety and regulations for girls and you won’t be dealing with any kind of a nuisance at least inside the campus.

  • One of my friends has graduated from NIT Arunachal Pradesh and never faced any safety or security issue in her 2-year stay neither on the campus nor in the hostel.
  • She used to board the bus at early 5:30 am from Nirjuli and went to the bus stop all alone from the hostel and nothing mischievous happened. She still cherishes the memory.
  • People from Arunachal Pradesh are very civilized and respectful when it comes to people from different regions of the country.

It’s all about the settlement. Once done, you will enjoy the natural serenity and the time you spent there.

In the end, it depends on the circumstances and mentality that individuals possess, if we knew what’s going to happen then we could have avoided every bad thing that happened. Not everything is in our hands but safety is. Always make sure you are alert and keep the presence of mind and act accordingly.

Which is better in terms of academics for CSE, placement, fee and location, NIT Arunachal, NIT Silchar or PEC Chandigarh?

Lived in Chandigarh, India

My sister is an alumnus of NIT Arunachal Pradesh and has also visited NIT Silchar several times. As per her experience, the preference order to follow while making a choice between these institutes should be

  • NIT Silchar > NIT Arunachal Pradesh>PEC

The reason I placed NIT Silchar first is because it has better rankings, and even the connectivity issues have been resolved. One can now reach Silchar by road, train and via air. This has improved the placement scenario to a great extent.

MS Mathematical Physics, National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh (2018)

The faculties are very well qualified and have PhDs from IIT, ISM, ISI, NIT, etc. You will find both good and bad faculty members here.

The curriculum and syllabus are structured in such a way that both Mathematics and Physics get equal importance. Majorly it is more of a theoretical-based course. As the name suggests this is one of the unique courses at the masters’ level in India for which both Maths and physics students can enroll.

The campus is yet to shift to a permanent campus the facilities here provided are not that superior. But neglecting this fact, if you are keen to study; you have plenty of room for studying.

If you are going for self-study, then it is the best college as you will get ample time for it. The college is really good and you can get much to learn if you invest your time properly.
