Some prominent companies that participate in the IIT Bhubaneswar summer internships are- Amazon, DRDO, Mathworks, Wipro, TCS, Tesla EMS, Bosch, etc. 

I think you should go for IIT Bhubaneswar. Although IIT Bhubaneswar rankings may appear to be lower than IIT Ropar and IIT Dhanbad, its overall environment and infrastructure are very engineering-focused. It is also one of the fastest-growing IITs in India. Overall, from my experience, I can tell you that you shouldn’t think twice before joining IIT Bhubaneswar.

As an IIT Bhubaneswar student, I suggest you go for IIT Bhubaneswar for ECE. IIT Bhubaneswar has highly qualified faculty members who help the students gather theoretical and practical knowledge. The first-year course fee for IIT Bhubaneswar Btech is INR 2.32 Lakhs.

• The placement records for the department are really good.
• The highest package is INR 38.7 LPA and the average package is INR 12.85 LPA and around 80% of the students are placed.

I would suggest opting for MTech from IIT Bhubaneswar in electronics and communication is a better choice than IIT Bangalore.

If you ask me, I think you should opt for Mechanical at IIT Bhubaneswar rather than choosing ED at IITM. I am saying this not because I am a student of IIT Bhubaneswar but because of the high academic standards the institute maintains.

• IIT Bhubaneswar offers undergraduate full-time courses for four years.
• The average fee for four years is around INR 9 Lakhs.
• IIT Bhubaneswar Mechanical branch has recorded 87% placement for students in 2023 with the highest salary package being INR 21.28 LPA and the average salary package being INR 12.57 LPA.

I can understand that choosing between IIT Bhubaneswar for CSE and IIT Kharagpur for mechanical engineering can be a tough choice. But it depends on your career goals and preferences. I don't have much idea about IIT Kharagpur but I can guide you about IIT Bhubaneswar. Being a student at IIT Bhubaneswar myself I can say that the institution offers excellent academic standards for the students.

• The average fee for a first-year BTech in CSE at IIT Bhubaneswar is around INR 2.32 Lakhs.
• The placement scenario at IIT Bhubaneswar is good. In 2023, the CSE department had 100% placement of the students with the highest salary package offered is INR 55.75 LPA and the average salary package is INR 20.18 LPA.

IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Mandi are well-recognized academic institutions for Engineering and technology nationwide. As a student of IIT Bhubaneswar, I can certainly help you with some insights about the institution, but in the end, the choice depends on your personal preference, desired location, and career goals.

If you ask me, choosing IIT Bhubaneswar for CSE is a better option as the CSE branch for IIT Bhubaneswar is great.

• The cutoff for pursuing CES at IIT Bhubaneswar for 2023 was 2806 and for 2024 is 3404.
• IIT Bhubaneswar's B.Tech ranking by NIRF is 47 out of 200 institutions in India in 2023 and ranked 11 out of 32 by India Today Engineering Ranks.

I am a second year B.Tech Civil student at IIT Bhubaneswar. The 2023 NIRF ranking of IIT Bhubaneswar was 47 in the Engineering Category, while that of Jadavpur University was 10. 

During 2023, B.Tech Civil at IIT Bhubaneswar recorded 80% placements, and the average CTC stood at INR 12.85 LPA. The top recruiters at IIT Bhubaneswar for the placement season were- Accenture, Adobe, Amazon, Dell, Deloitte, HCL, Infosys, and ISRO.

Jadavpur University offers a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication, and a BE in Instrumentation and Electronics. During 2023 placements, 98% students were placed from BE Electronics and Telecommunication. On the other hand, 100% students were placed from BE Instrumentation and Electronics at JU.
