What is photo counseling in CUSAT admissions?
During CUSAT admission counseling, they verify that there is no fraud and you are the same person as the photo that was given in the registration form. This process is known as photo counseling. This round is just for verification purposes. This process ensures that there are no discrepancies during admission.
What is your opinion about IIM Raipur for a GEM from NITW earning 13 LpA in the IT industry with 22 months work experience?
Let’s make this easy to understand by comparing what you will be earning in 2 years if you continue to work here and the average package you might be offered after completing an MBA of 2 years.
Your current salary is 13 LPA. So in 2 years, you will be earning around 16 LPA. The average salary of IIM Raipur is INR 17.73 LPA. Now if you compare the two you will see there isn’t much difference between the two. In fact, if you go for an MBA you will end up with an extra loan. Paying back the hefty loan is itself a big task. So, in my opinion, you should continue working in the firm.
If you really want to pursue MBA, prepare for CAT next year and aim for an older IIM as it might improve your opportunities. Then again go for CAT again only if you are confident that you will
be able to ace it.
What happens during the counseling of Manipal university?
After the MU OET results are released by the University, the counseling of the students starts for all three campuses (Manipal University Karnataka, Manipal University Jaipur, and Sikkim Institute of Technology).
- You are required to select the venue for counseling from the available centers before you download the hall ticket.
- Make sure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria before you report to the counseling Centre.
- Only the candidates whose ranks are included in the counseling schedule are required to visit the venue.
- Your physical presence is mandatory for the admission process.
- At the venue, you will be required to be present in the counseling hall according to the ranks you scored in the MU OET Examination.
- You can select any branch available during your turn.
- Once the seat for admission is assigned, you cannot change it later under any circumstance.
During counseling, you must present the required original documents and two sets of photocopies of the same. For admission, the University would retain these documents till the completion of your course.
Should I join HCL as an IMS engineer with 6 LPA in Noida or a government grade 3 job in my home location with 4 LPA?
My advice would be to join the Grade 3 Government job as it will give you an opportunity to study for higher exams. It will also ensure many facilities that come with a government job like job security.
If you join HCL, with a 6 LPA package, the immense work pressure will hinder you from preparing for any further exams. You will have to keep climbing the corporate ladder and the pressure won’t let you prepare for your higher studies.
How do I apply for PTU counseling?
One of my friends also attended the PTU counseling. Here’s what I got to know from him. There is a very uncomplicated method for applying for PTU Counseling devised for aspirants.
- You need to visit the official website for PTU and register your name for counseling.
- Make sure that you apply for fee waiver counseling.
- On registering your name, a dialogue box appears regarding the payment. The amount required to be paid amounts to INR 2000.
- After payment, a form with your academic details would pop up.
- From the number of options, you have to choose the branch and institute of preference along with your JEE rank and then proceed to submit the details filled.
- Make sure that you have entered the correct information otherwise you will face some hurdles in your counseling.
- The counseling is held virtually/online. Several rounds are held simultaneously during the counseling session.
- At the end of every round, the allotment is displayed on the official web portal.
Kindly go through the procedure carefully. Not many aspirants are aware of the fee waiver counseling that makes your fee less by 70%. Since you have the opportunity, you should grab it and register accordingly.
I want to do BCA but I'm confused which collage to choose IMS Noida is only 6 KM from my home?
Many falsely assume IMS Noida to be a good institute after reading fake reviews and misleading information on the internet. My friend's house was in close proximity to the Institute and thus chose it for graduation. Till date he regrets his decision because there are so many flaws like
- Inexperienced and incompetent faculty
- Management that is after money only
- Constant fees hikes every year
- Sessional exams are not conducted timely and marks are not sent to the university timely
- Unnecessary fine imposed
- Inflated placement statistics
- Corrupted administration
- Poor college life experience
- Unhygienic environment
These reasons are more than enough to convince you from choosing IMS Noida.
What if a person has already taken an admission and also gets selected through the PTU counseling?
There won’t be any problem if someone gets admission after passing from the PTU counseling. This happens to almost every student.
If you want to take admission via the counseling round then there is a concession for 1000 rupees on admission in PTU.
Compare both the institutes, if it is a government college you can opt for a refund. However, in the case of private colleges, it is your choice to get admitted.
Before choosing, look over the stats of both the institutes and figure out the better one. Choose the college based on Faculty, academics, recognitions, placements stats. Choose the better college out of the two.
When will the PTU B.Tech counselling start on the basis of the JEE Main rank?
PTU B.Tech counseling 2022 (on the basis of JEE Main ranks) will tentatively start from the second week of September. The counseling will be done in two rounds. The first round will start around the second week of September. Results of this round should be declared by the third week.
2nd round of counseling will start in the 4th week of September (tentatively). The seat allocation for this round will be done around the first week of October.
