Sharda University’s inter-university cultural festival ‘Sangam Ullas’ recently concluded on April 06, 2024. The event saw over 20 different competitions and a performance by rapper MC Square.

New Delhi: Sharda University hosted its international cultural festival, 'Sangam Ullas' on April 05 and April 06, 2024. Hundreds of students from 95 different countries participated in over 20 events planned under Sangam Ullas 2024. The 2-day festival included competitions ranging from dance, music, fashion, drama, and sports competitions to a celebrity concert.

This year, famous rapper Abhishek Baisla, known by his stage name MC Square, entertained students at Sangam Ullas with hip-hop songs. DJ Suitup also performed at the event. The first day of the festival included exciting events like 'Gully Cricket’, 'Battle Of Bands', and 'Robowar'. The second day of Sangam Ullas 2024 was dedicated to the performance by MC Square, as well as technical competitions and showcases. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony

The Director of Sharda University, Ajit Kumar spoke about the excitement of Sangam Ulla 2024. He said, “For two days, the festival unfolded with a dazzling array of over 20 events, showcasing the multifaceted talents and creativity of students. From thought-provoking debates to glamorous fashion shows, soul-stirring monologues to rib-tickling stand-up comedy performances, high-octane rap wars to intimate open-mic showcases and thrilling competitions, the festival offered an immersive experience that catered to every taste and interest.”

Sharda University Chancellor PK Gupta also spoke about the importance of the festival. “The event brought together students, faculty, and community members in a celebration of diversity, creativity, and unity. [It] served as a platform for cultural exchange, fostering a sense of inclusivity and appreciation for the various cultural identities within our university community.”
