The Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), Baroda will be conducting the semester end examinations for final year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses from July 2020.

The University will adhere to all the health guidelines and social distancing norms. The exam will be conducted in three shifts and proper sanitization will be followed in between the shifts.

As stated by MSU Baroda, the syllabus for the exam will be based on offline classes taken till March 14, 2020. Thereafter whatever is taught through online classes will not be a part of the examination syllabus.

The examination schedule is expected to be released by June 5, 2020.

The students of first and second year of all the courses will be graded on the basis of internal assessments and previous semester end examinations. It is to be noted that no examinations will be conducted for the students of technology and pharmacy and they will be promoted in the same manner.

Students with backlogs and ATKT (allowed to keep terms) will also be considered for the July examinations. The students who have left for their native places and somehow cannot appear for the exams are given an opportunity to appear as regular students in October exams.

The Institute has also considered the UGC guidelines of merit based progression.
