IIT MTech Admission 2023: COAP Round 2 Offers Out

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, IIT Kharagpur, the Coordinating Institute for Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP 2023), has released the IITs MTech COAP Round 2 Offers for all registered candidates. The last date to accept/freeze seat is May 29, 2023

Candidates can check their admission offers by logging into the GATE COAP 2023 website using their registration ID and password at coap.iitkgp.ac.in. Through COAP 2023, applicants will be shortlisted for MTech admissions in participating Institutes based on their GATE scores

Earlier, the GATE 2023 Exam was held on February 04, 05, 11, and 12, 2023, and the result was published on March 16, 2023. Candidates who have a valid score in GATE 2023 exam will be considered for MTech admission in top IITs and GATE participating institutes

Admission to the MTech program in IITs and IISc Bangalore is done through GATE COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal). This year, the IIT Kharagpur is the coordinating Institute for COAP 2023 and there will be as many as 10 rounds of admission (based on seat availability). 

The official website reads, ”COAP provides a common platform for the registered candidates seeking admission to take the most preferred choice for admission into an MTech Program in participating Institutes, or job offer from participating Public Sector Units (PSUs)”.

“While eight institutes (IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee) were involved in COAP-2017, over the years, more than twenty-four institutes and a PSU have come together and participated in COAP for filling their M.Tech. seats or job vacancies”, it added.
