IIT Bhubaneswar Invites Students For Winter Internship Programme; Apply online Here

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has invited students for a winter internship programme. Interested candidates can apply online for the winter internship programme by November 21, 2021. 

IIT Bhubaneswar has notified in its official notification that the last date to submit the online application for the winter internship programme is till 11 PM on November 21, 2021. Further, the candidates can also avail of the laboratory and other academic facilities along with a short-term training at IIT Bhubaneswar. 

However, such students must be registered for a degree in a government-funded technical institution. The winter internship programme will last for a period of three weeks and it will be conducted online during the winter vacation of IIT Bhubaneswar that will be observed from December 6 to 31, 2021.

According to the IITB, the internship will be carried out through the interaction with faculty members in online mode only and upon the successful completion of the winter internship programme, the participants will have to submit a report of the work after which the institute will award them “Training Completion Certificate”.

Candidates interested to apply for the winter internship programme can follow the step-by-step process Provided below to apply online. 

Step 1: Visit the official IIT Bhubaneswar website @iitbbs.ac.in. 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Internship Programme for Winter" link available. 

Step 3: It will redirect you to a new login page where you must register using email id and password.

Step 4: Log in and fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit it carefully. 

Step 5: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

IIT Bhubaneswar Winter Internship Programme 2021: Documents Required 

Candidates must upload the following documents while applying online for the winter internship programme. 

• Photograph
• Bonafide Certificate
• Identity Card
• Signature
• Resume
• Mark or Grade sheets, certificates and documents starting from Class 10 onwards
• Any other relevant documents, certificates related to educational and professional experience

Candidates selected for the winter internship programme will be offered hostel accommodation, if available, on payment of the requisite fees. They should send the application for accommodation (only after being selected for internship) to the Dean of Student Affairs through the faculty supervisor and the HOS for permission.

Post the selection, the participants will have to submit a hard copy of the application form along with the prescribed documents duly signed by them at the time of joining the winter internship programme in the respective schools of IIT Bhubaneswar.
