IIFT MBA 2027-29 Admissions Open at iift.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has opened the Master of Business Administration (MBA) 2027-29 admission registration at the official portal iift.ac.in. Candidates can apply for the MBA in International Business (IB) and MBA in Business Analytics (BA) programmes through the dedicated admission portal.

According to the official notification, the application window opened on October 12, 2026. Eligible candidates must submit their forms by November 25, 2026. Admission to both programmes will be based on CAT 2026 scores, followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds.

IIFT is a Deemed-to-be University under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The MBA (IB) programme is offered across its Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada, and GIFT City campuses. The MBA (BA) programme is offered only at the Delhi campus.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree of at least three years. The minimum requirement is 50 percent marks in graduation. The relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates is 45 percent marks.

Students in the final year of graduation are also allowed to apply. They must produce proof of their degree at the time of admission. Age limit does not apply for the general category under either programme.

The MBA (BA) programme has an additional subject requirement. Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics in graduation. Those with a BE or BTech degree are eligible. Mathematics at the 10+2 level is also accepted.

Application Fee Structure

The application fee differs for each programme. Fee is payable online through the admission portal. Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

How to Apply for IIFT MBA 2027-29?

Applications are submitted entirely through the online portal. Candidates must register with a valid email and mobile number. The portal allows editing of saved forms before final submission.

Supporting documents include a passport photograph, signature, and category certificate where applicable. Candidates must keep their CAT 2026 registration number ready. The system issues a confirmation page after fee payment.

Selection Process at a Glance

IIFT uses a two-stage selection model for both programmes. CAT 2026 scores form the first filter for shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates then face a written assessment, group discussion, and personal interview.

The final merit considers CAT score, academic record, work experience, and interview performance. Gender and academic diversity weightages are also applied. The institute will release the shortlist on its website after CAT results.
