HP NEET UG Round 3 Revised Final Merit List 2026 Out; Check Extended Choice Filling Date

The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the revised final merit list for Round 3 counselling of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026. The list has been published on the official portal at amruhp.ac.in. It covers admission to MBBS and BDS seats under the 85 percent state quota for the 2026-27 academic session.

AMRU has also issued a separate notice extending the choice filling and locking window for Round 3 candidates. The university has stated that eligible candidates must complete their choice entries through the online counselling portal by October 8, 2026.

The revised final merit list carries 2,995 candidates numbered serially by merit rank. These candidates are eligible to participate in choice filling and the subsequent seat allocation process for MBBS and BDS programmes across government and private medical and dental colleges in Himachal Pradesh.

Who Features in the Round 3 Merit List?

The revised final merit list has been prepared on the basis of NEET UG 2026 scores and the rules laid down in the HP MBBS and BDS counselling prospectus 2026. Only candidates who registered during the fresh Round 3 application window from September 22 to 27, 2026 have been considered.

Candidates are ranked under the state merit list and are further grouped by categories defined by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Participation in Round 3 is open to fresh candidates and to those who have not been upgraded in earlier rounds.

How to Fill and Lock Choices on the AMRU Portal?

Choice filling decides which college and course each candidate can be allotted. The process is completely online and must be completed within the extended window.

1. Log in to the AMRU counselling portal using your registered credentials.
2. Open the choice filling section after reading the seat matrix.
3. Select MBBS and BDS colleges and courses in order of preference.
4. Save the preferences and verify the order carefully.
5. Lock the choices before the revised deadline closes.

Choices that are not locked will be auto-locked by the system at the end of the window. Once locked, the preferences cannot be edited for Round 3.
