Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Out; Report by Sept 3

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur has released the Chhattisgarh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result. Allotted candidates must complete reporting and admission by September 3, 2026. Reporting takes place directly at the allotted medical or dental college. Candidates first need to download the allotment letter from the portal.

The Round 1 state merit list carried 9,195 candidates. DME Raipur released this merit list on August 18, 2026. Seat allotment has been made based on candidate choices and merit rank.

The allotment letter is generated using the candidate's roll number, date of birth and security pin. This letter is a mandatory document at the reporting college. Missing the September 3 deadline will lead to the loss of the allotted seat.

How Is the Chhattisgarh State Quota Structured?

DME Raipur handles counselling for the state quota seats left after the All India Quota. This includes government medical and dental colleges, private colleges and deemed seats notified for the state pool. Only candidates who registered on the DME portal and locked their choices were considered for Round 1.

The seat matrix covers reserved categories under Chhattisgarh state rules. Domicile candidates get first preference against the state quota pool. Non-domicile candidates are considered only against seats notified as open.

Why This Matters

Chhattisgarh counselling runs alongside the MCC All India Quota schedule. A Round 1 acceptance here can block a candidate from other state or AIQ rounds. Reading the seat status carefully before reporting is therefore critical.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to cgdme.admissions.nic.in and download the allotment letter.
  2. Read the allotted college name, course and category status carefully.
  3. Arrange all original documents and two full photocopy sets.
  4. Confirm the course fee amount with the allotted college in advance.
  5. Report at the allotted college well before September 3, 2026.
  6. Complete document verification and pay the admission fee at the college.
  7. Collect the final admission receipt and joining slip for records.
Keep an Eye On

DME Raipur will next open Round 2 registration on cgdme.admissions.nic.in. Watch the portal for the Round 2 schedule, fresh choice filling and updated seat matrix.
