And how does the curriculum of engineering college ensure the best practices of the engineering industry?

As an autonomous institution, we have the flexibility to modify up to 20-30% of the syllabus to align it with industry requirements. To ensure that our curriculum incorporates the best practices of the engineering industry, we actively involve industry professionals in the curriculum designing process.

By incorporating their suggestions, we can add important elements to the curriculum that reflect the current needs and trends of the industry. This helps us bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations, making our students well-prepared for their future careers. We regularly invite industry professionals to share their expertise through guest lectures, workshops, and seminars. This provides our students with practical insights, real-world case studies, and hands-on experiences that complement their theoretical learning.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students considering pursuing engineering?

My suggestion to all aspiring students considering pursuing engineering is to work hard, be creative, and stay updated with market and industry needs. Engineering programs require dedication, perseverance, and a strong work ethic. Moreover, cultivating creativity is crucial. Engineering is a field that requires innovative problem-solving skills. Students should strive to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and approach challenges with a creative mindset.

With the abundance of information available on the internet, it is important to transform that information into knowledge. Simply consuming content is not enough; students should actively analyze, synthesize, and apply what they learn. Staying updated with market needs and industry trends is vital.

Lastly, I encourage students to seek practical experiences, internships, and industry collaborations. Engaging in real-world projects and interactions allows students to apply their knowledge in practical settings and gain valuable insights
