REGEMATES -2023

Regency College is a prestigious and top institution known for its academic excellence has welcomed FRESHERS into the vibrant hotel industry on 27th September, 2023 at Village Trials – Ghatkesar.

The seniors of Regency College of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management organized a warm welcoming party for Fresher’s at Village Trials Resort- Ghatkesar. It’s a celebration of new beginnings, forging friendships that can last a lifetime and creating last memories that define the college excellence. Seniors welcomed freshers from the core of their hearts. The juniors were overwhelmed by such a warm and lovely welcome extended to them by the seniors.

Theme: The beauty of the ambiance enriched with yellow and blue balloons signifying elegance a sense of luxury, stability and creativity depicting a great future for the Freshers. 

Cultural Extravaganza: Keeping in sync with all the seniors were seen in blazers and traditional attire, whereas juniors were in casuals. The energetic and enthusiastic emcees rocked the event with their timely and chirpy one-liners. The seniors performed dances of varying styles from Bollywood to hip hop showcasing their diverse cultural talents. The melodious songs sung by a few provided a breather from high-energy dances. Little lilting music and the chunk of ice, new faces, smiles all along resounding laughter- yes, it is party time.

Dainties @ Village Trails: An exotic lavish buffet added fuel to the burning fire to keep high energy in the post-noon continuation of the event, which included Hyderabadi Biryani, authentic sweets, and savories.

The modeling contest was the biggest attraction for the audience. The contest happened in 3 phases (ramp walk, introduction round and the question round). A total of 160 students participated in the contest and the fresh entrants participated in different games like crazy poses, guessing the song, copy cat , dog in the bone, burst the balloon and dumb charades were thoroughly enjoyed and the juniors were given souvenir as a token of love and remembrance.

The party ended with a cake-cutting ceremony wishing Good Luck and success for their Learning Journey @ Regency. The scintillating moments of the students swayed to the beats of the music DJ, mesmerized themselves in those moments and resonated with the environment.

Regency made Fresher’s even more memorable day by unveiling the RPL (REGENCY PREMIER LEAGUE 3.0 ) and awarded regents who took immense participation in the intra-college competitions conducted at Regency on the occasion to celebrate the International legacy of the hospitality industry i.e., (International Tourism Day, International Housekeeping Week, International Literacy Day). Yuva Club in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism hosted International Tourism Day, 2023 with the theme "GO GREEN". On this eve Regency College celebrated Tourism Day and organized a City Tour, Dekho Apna Hyderabad video contest, Quiz on Tourism, a STATE CULTURAL PRESENTATION Ramp walk and awarded students for the best performance.

Unveiling Trophy: Regency is the only college which began the tradition of bringing all the Hotel Management Colleges (Affiliated to Osmania University and NHMCT) to one platform i.e., the most prestigious cricket Tournament RPL (REGENCY PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 3.0). Principal Mr. P. Ramesh Kumar Reddy unveiled the trophies on this special occasion and addressed that such a tournament will unite all the Hotel Management Colleges together as well as sporty spirit.
