What are the challenges you faced while providing the courses to the students?

Many students from rural areas are not fully aware of the responsibilities and opportunities associated with the courses we offer, and language barriers are common as they are more familiar with regional languages. To overcome this challenge, we put in extra effort to ensure that our students understand both the theoretical and practical aspects of the courses. We provide instruction in both the regional language and English, making our teaching more inclusive. Regular counseling sessions and workshops are organized to educate students about potential career paths and societal contributions achievable through our courses, fostering a sense of social responsibility.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

We collaborate with local communities and organizations to create awareness campaigns highlighting the benefits of pursuing education in the field of pharmacy. We invite guest speakers from various fields to inspire and educate students about the value of our courses. Our faculty members provide individual attention and guidance to students who require additional support. We encourage peer-to-peer learning and group discussions, allowing students to learn from each other's experiences and perspectives. We focus on overall personality development through various extracurricular activities, community service initiatives, and internships, providing opportunities for students to enhance their skills and gain practical experience.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

We prioritize open communication channels with students and faculty, encouraging students to approach us with any questions or concerns. We provide hands-on training and practical exercises to enhance their understanding. We address mistakes constructively and politely, recognizing that they are part of the learning process. Politeness and respect are integral to our college's culture, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?
