SVKM’S NMIMS Hyderabad Hosts Grand Convocation 2023 for the students of School of Commerce and School of Science

Hyderabad, India– Recently, SVKM’S NMIMS Hyderabad celebrated the Convocation 2023 for the students of the School of Commerce and the School of Science. The convocation honoured the graduates of various programs of both schools, including BBA, B. Com (Hons), and B.Sc. (ASA), respectively. It was an occasion to recognize the academic and extracurricular achievements of the graduating students and the bright promise they hold for the future. 

Dr. Mallikharjun Nagineni, Head of Human Relations – API & OSD Operations India at Mylan Laboratories Limited, graced the event as the Chief Guest. The leadership team of NMIMS including Mr. Bharat M Sanghvi, Nominee of the Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr. Meena Chintamaneni, Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor, NMIMS, Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh, Director, NMIMS Hyderabad, and other dignitaries, including Dr. Ashish Daptardar, Additional Registrar, NMIMS, and Dr. Ashish Kumar Biswas, Program Chairperson, School of Commerce, NMIMS Hyderabad were also present at the ceremony.

The convocation, which took place at the NMIMS Jadcherla Campus-Multipurpose Hall, commenced with an awe-inspiring academic procession. The proceedings continued as Dr. Ashish Kumar Biswas called out the names of the graduates, and an oath was administered by Dr. Meena Chintamaneni.

As the degrees were conferred on the proud students, the air in the venue was rent with excitement and anticipation. 

NMIMS Hyderabad has recorded numerous accomplishments in the past few years, both in terms of student achievements and the development of the campus, making it a name to reckon with in higher education.

In 2023, NMIMS Hyderabad achieved a noteworthy milestone with the highest package offered to a student of BBA (Management), standing at Rs 10.05 lakhs. Meanwhile, the introduction of state-of-the-art smart boards in every classroom has raised the bar of the teaching-learning process, creating an ideal environment for interactive and immersive education. The addition of senior faculty members to the campus has further enhanced the academic environment by bringing extensive experience and knowledge to the classrooms. NMIMS Hyderabad's placement cell is now led by a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience who has brought fresh perspectives and strategies to the recruitment process.

Addressing the distinguished gathering, Chief Guest, Dr. Mallikharjun Nagineni, Head of Human Relations – API & OSD Operations India at Mylan Laboratories Limited, remarked, "Education is the cornerstone of progress, and I am delighted to witness the bright graduates who represent the future leaders of our nation. The convocation concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ashish Kumar Biswas, Program Chairperson, School of Commerce, NMIMS Hyderabad. The National anthem marked the end of the solemn ceremony.
