What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“It's my passion to teach and conduct research"

Since finishing my Ph.D., I’ve been associated with the education sector. As an educator, I don’t just teach students, I also have to keep upskilling and learning the current trends. This is something we always look into and keep innovating. Our curriculum is a blend of academic theory and industry practices. We use business simulations, real-time case studies, live projects, and other pedagogical practices to make sure our students are well equipped to become industry managers and leaders.

The key factors are:

  • Information Literacy
  • Exchange of Experience between Teachers
  • Cancellation of System Monitoring
  • Individualization of Education
  • High Learning Productivity.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“My leadership style includes being an affiliate, authoritative and coaching”

My philosophy is to lead teachers, students or administrators effectively. You need a framework that defines your approach. Adopting a leadership style helps you determine how to make decisions, what goals to prioritize and how to interact with others. When you choose the right leadership style for the situation, you may be able to solve complex problems, resolve conflicts quickly.

How do you plan the marketing and administration of your school?

Making digital marketing an important cornerstone of academic marketing strategy is essential”

  • School marketing: There was a time when schools didn’t need marketing because they relied solely on their reputation and word of mouth. That time is forever gone because millennial parents are more tech-savvy and use the internet to support their decision making.
  • Digital marketing for the education sector: In today’s digital world, traditional marketing strategies are no longer suitable for targeting younger demographics. Educational institutions must embrace digital channels if they want to convey their message to a large audience in a cost-effective manner.
  • Social media marketing for educational institutions: Parents and students alike spend a lot of time on social media sites, and educational institutions should establish a presence on sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to engage with them.
  • The promotion of educational apps: The current educational app market is so competitive that it’s no longer enough just to have a great product. One must also have a great educational marketing strategy that is executed to perfection to get ahead of the competition.

What can inbound students gain from studying here in your college?

The education we provide is not just bookish. We offer practical education as well. It is our aim to ensure that theoretical aspects are complemented with practical industrial needs. We aim to produce students who combine both in a perfect way.

How does the curriculum ensure the best practice of industry?

“It includes Train the trainer model, to create industry-ready professionals at institute level”

In today’s educational system, the participation of industries in curriculum design and delivery at institutions is very much essential. This will bridge the gap between the industry and institutions and will enable the students to become industry-ready. This will also reduce the time, effort and resources spent on the students at industries before they will take up the real projects. Various models are available in this context. In the first model, the industry will design the course as per its requirement and deliver the same in the partnering institutes through their trainers. The students need to write the final examination and those qualified will be absorbed in those industries. In yet another model, the industry will select the candidates for employment and then provide tailor-made courses to those candidates through the faculty.
