APSCHE has postponed the AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment by one day. The revised allotment will be released on October 7 2026 at cap.apcfss.in. College reporting runs from October 7 to October 9 2026.

AP LAWCET PGLCET 2026 Phase 1 Allotment Postponed to Oct 7

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has issued a counselling update. It has postponed the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment. The revised allotment list will now be released on October 7, 2026. Candidates can download their allotment orders at cap.apcfss.in.

The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) governs admissions to three-year and five-year LLB courses. The Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) handles LLM programme admissions in the state. Both counselling rounds are conducted jointly through the Common Admissions Portal.

The Phase 1 allotment was originally scheduled for October 6, 2026. APSCHE has shifted it by one day to October 7, 2026. The reporting window at allotted colleges still runs from October 7 to October 9, 2026. Candidates must therefore download the allotment order and report within the prescribed period.

How to Download the AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2026 Allotment Order?

Candidates must follow a simple process on the official portal. The allotment order is mandatory for college reporting. Keep the hall ticket number and login credentials ready before starting.

  1. Visit the Common Admissions Portal at cap.apcfss.in.
  2. Click on the AP LAWCET or AP PGLCET 2026 allotment link.
  3. Log in using the hall ticket number and registered password.
  4. Open the Phase 1 provisional allotment order.
  5. Verify the allotted college, course, and category details.
  6. Download the allotment order and take a clear printout.
Why This Matters

The one-day shift narrows the gap between allotment and reporting. Candidates must now check the order and travel on the same day. Keeping documents ready in advance will prevent last minute hurdles at the college.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in to cap.apcfss.in on October 7, 2026 to view the allotment order.
  • Download and print the allotment letter in a clear format.
  • Verify the college name, course, fee, and category on the order.
  • Arrange the tuition fee as mentioned in the allotment letter.
  • Keep all original certificates and photocopies ready for verification.
  • Report to the allotted college between October 7 and October 9, 2026.
Keep an Eye On

APSCHE is likely to release the Phase 2 counselling notice after reporting closes on October 9 2026. Candidates who miss Phase 1 should watch cap.apcfss.in for vacant seat details.
