New Delhi: Amity University has signed an MoU with Pukyong University, South Korea to foster research collaboration. The MoU was signed in the presence of Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder and President of the Amity Education Group and Pukyong National University, Professor Kim Hyun-Woo and President Professor Jang Young-Soo.
An academic delegation from Pukyong National University, South Korea, comprising Professor Jang Young Soo, President, Professor Kim Hyun-Woo, Provost of International Affairs, and Professor Fazhurrahman Khan from the Institute of Fisheries Sciences, visited the Noida Campus of Amity University Uttar Pradesh.
The announcement stated, "Pukyong National University, with four campuses dedicated to education and research, industry-university collaborative research, the Institute of Fisheries Sciences, and the Marine Science and Technology Center, is pleased to establish this collaboration with an Indian University for the first time”.
“We are delighted to choose Amity as our partner, considering it is a globally recognised and prestigious institution that not only provides high-quality education but also emphasises human values, cultural ethos, and global development through science and technology," as mentioned by Professor Jang Young-Soo, President.

Providing a concise overview of Pukyong National University, Professor Kim Hyun-Woo, Provost of International Affairs, expressed "Our desire to collaborate with Amity University stems from the shared values, thoughts, beliefs, and ideologies between Pukyong National University and Amity. We aspire to build robust connections with Amity in areas such as the Student Exchange Program, International Dual Degree initiatives, International Summer School, International Students Support Programs, and Korean Language Programs."
