- The course was exactly what I was looking for + the course was in English + there was no tuition fee.,
- The staff was accomodating and very helpful in answering any questions that the students had. The curriculum was as was mentioned on the website and the university also had some scholarship options.,
- It also has many social events for students to bond and live the social life. The university also arranges many job fairs which is very helpful and each department in the university has some contacts with other universities and companies, so placement is possible but it's very competitive.

- Nothing. There's really nothing bad about the university. There was no tuition fee, only a small semester fee but some courses could have a tuition fee. However, now, the German government is mandating a fee for around 3k-6k for every course in every uni. So, it is 1 negative point now.
Campus Life:
Everything is perfect. There are projectors, white boards etc. It's not super modern as we see in movies, but quite good for the small semester fee that we pay.
Hostel:
Accommodation in Munich is as difficult as climbing Mount Everest and coming back down safely. Private accommodation is extremely costly and the dorms have a huge waiting time. It's best to try to connect to people who are already in Munich and can help you with dorm subletting. One should easily have at least ? 22-25 lakhs for a 2 year stay in Germany even if you get a side job while studying there.

- I chose it because of the exposure I get here. I can do my internships and masters thesis anywhere in the world which will help in future steps towards my career in research. I could work in TUM also and now I'm working in the leading cancer research institute of Germany DKFZ.,
- Flexible course building and research network which leads to better internship opportunities and exposure. The Martinsried campus has Max Planck institutes, Helmholtz and other industrial workplaces like LZB that makes it easy to manage classes with internships.
- Dislikes:
- Course allocation system is not student friendly. We have to fill in course preferences ayt beginning of semester and on a specific date courses are alloted to students by random system (probably). This way a lot of students end up not getting desired courses in the semester they want or never and end up not being able to finish their Masters in time.
Campus Life:
They have tutorial club which organizes Events and excursions for international students. The whole campus area has Bayern and Eduroam wifi. They have sports facilities in Olympicpark which has great courts and discounts for students.
Hostel:
The waiting period for student dorm is 2-3 semesters hence students usually live in private accommodation for first few months which can cost up to 700€ easily in Munich.

There are lot of societies and events that take place throughout the year. I don't know very well about it though since I just joined.

Finding accommodation in Munich is tough. You need to look through a lot of pages and sites. Ultimately everybody finds a home but it is difficult initially.
Campus Life:
Campus life is really good. The labs, the libraries are all top class. Whole campus is Wifi enabled. The lab equipments are all state of the art.
Hostel:
Accommodation in Munich is usually a bit expensive. Unless you live in a student accommodation which is hard to get. In student accommodations you usually pay a rent in b/w 300 to 400€ while private accommodations can be anywhere b/w 450 to 600€ and so on.
