2 years standard period of study to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.); a total of 120 credit points (analogous to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System - ECTS) must be acquired. The individual length of study may deviate from the standard length of study.
The workload of 120 credit points is distributed over the content as follows:
- Compulsory subject general mechatronics 32 CP
- Specialization subject 35 CP
- Elective subject 17 CP
- Key Qualifications 6 CP
- Master's thesis 30 CP
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academics
- University degree in a relevant subject
- at least 8 credit points in the fundamentals of electrical engineering - at least 4 credit points in technical mechanics
- at least 21 credit points in higher mathematics (with specific content)
- at least 6 credit points in measurement and control technology (with specific content, see admission regulations)
Language Proficiency
In order to be able to start a German-language course, foreign applicants must prove that they have the appropriate language skills. For the application you need at least B1 level knowledge. All certificates are accepted, but a certificate of participation in the B1 course is also sufficient.
