Graduates of the master’s degree in mechanical engineering at KIT have broad and in-depth knowledge. This solid foundation enables them to analyze and synthesize even complex systems. In addition, they can methodically develop, reflect on and evaluate systems and processes in mechanical engineering, taking into account technical, social, economic and ethical boundary conditions, and design them independently and sustainably. They deal constructively with their own and other people's views and present the results of their work in an understandable form.

Graduates are able to independently identify tasks, obtain the information needed to solve them, select methods and acquire skills, and thus make their contribution to value creation. You will be able to decide on a specific career in mechanical engineering.
