WB JECA 2024 Exam Pattern has been revised. As per the new exam pattern, WB JECA 2024 will have a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions and the total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. WB JECA 2024 exam paper will be in English language only. Total marks in the exam is 120. As per the new WB JECA 2024 exam pattern, the correct answer in Category I will provide 1 mark while the correct answer in Category II will give 2 marks each. A penalty of 1/4 marks (0.25) will be deducted for every wrong answer. However, Category II does not have any negative marking.
WB JECA 2024 Exam Pattern
WB JECA 2024 will be conducted on July 14, 2024 (tentative). As per the revised WB JECA 2024 Exam Pattern, the test will be conducted in one paper only.

WB JECA 2024 Marking Scheme
As per the new WB JECA 2024 exam pattern, the correct answer in Category I will provide 1 mark while the correct answer in Category II will give 2 marks each. A penalty of 1/4 marks (0.25) will be deducted for every wrong answer. Category wise marking scheme is provided below.
Category I:
- Only one option is correct.
- The correct option will yield a 1 mark.
- An incorrect option will yield a negative marking of 0.25 mark.
- For any combination of more than one option, even if it contains the correct options, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
- Not attempting the question will fetch 0 marks.
Category II:
- One or more options are correct.
- Marking all correct options only will yield 2 marks.
- For any combination of answers containing one or more incorrect options, the said answer will be treated as incorrect, and it will yield a 0 mark even if one or more of the chosen options are correct.
- For partially correct answers, i.e., when all correct options are not marked and also no incorrect options are marked, marks awarded = 2 x (no. of correct options marked/ (total no. of actually correct options)
- Not attempting the question will fetch 0 marks.
