UPCET (UPSEE) Result 2024: Due to replacement with CUET UG and PG, candidates need to appear for CUET and check the result on the official website of CUET. CUET UG result will be out by June 30. CUET PG result has been declared by NTA on April 13. Based on CUET result, the candidates will be qualified to participate in UPCET Counselling process. Candidates are advised to download CUET result since it will be required during the admission process.
- No scorecard will be sent through the mail, candidates will need to check their result online at upcet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will also be informed about the results through SMS and email.

How to Check UPCET (CUET) Result?
To check the UPCET Result, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Step 1: Visit the official websiteof CUET, cuetug.ntaonline.in
- Step 2: After visiting the official website, click on the tab for “Online Result ”. This will take you to the page shown below.
- Step 3: Enter Roll No. and Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy) carefully in the fields provided.
- Step 4: After filling the details, click on the ‘submit’ tab.
- Step 5: The online Score Card for UPCET (CUET) will appear on the screen.
- Step 6: Candidates should download and print two-three copies of the CUET Score Card. The Score Card should be preserved for future use.

How to Calculate UPCET (CUET) Scores?
Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. No negative marking for unanswered/ unattempted answers. There will be no provision of negative marking for unattempted questions in UPCET . However, Authorities will keep a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate separately.
UPSEE Aspirants must note that the entrance examination will contain Objective type i.e. Multiple types of questions (MCQs). Candidates have to select only one choice for the correct answer in a given question. Those who mark more than one answer will not be given any marks for that question.

How to Raise Objections against UPCET Answer Key ?
According to the details provided by the exam authority, candidates have been granted an opportunity to raise objections to the UPCET (CUET) Provisional Answer Key. You can check your provisional answer key and raise objection from the official website of CUET UG/CUET PG.
UPCET (CUET) Merit List
CUET Merit lists will be prepared by respective colleges, based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. The merit lists are expected to be out soon (after the declaration of results). Only those applicants whose names are present in the merit list will be allowed to participate in the CUET counselling session of the admission procedure.
Features of UPSEE (CUET) Merit List :
- Names of the selected candidates for the counselling session will be listed in the released UPCET Merit List.
- Ranks of the candidates will also be mentioned on the merit list.
- Ranks obtained by candidates will be based on their secured scores in the entrance examination and their fulfilment of eligibility criteria
- For each category, a separate merit list will be prepared.
- The merit list will be available online on the official website and will be prepared and released by the admission committee of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
Inter-se-merit Rule (Tie-Break)
The higher the marks obtained by the candidate, the lower will be the rank in the merit list. In case, two or more candidates get the same marks in UPCET (UPSEE) Score Card, the following guidelines will be followed:
- Firstly, the number of incorrect answers given. A candidate giving a lesser number of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.
- Secondly,
- Thirdly, by the application number, the lowest application number will be placed at higher in the merit.
UPCET Cut off
- As per the UP Govt. order, the cut-off percentage of marks in UPCET for the merit of successful candidates is 25% for General category students. While it is 20% for SC/ST category students.
- UPCET (UPSEE) Cut off is the minimum marks/percentage of marks a candidate must score to get admission in various courses that will be offered in various colleges in UP.
- Mostly, the cut off lists are prepared for engineering courses only as the number of candidates who have applied for UPSEE admissions in various engineering courses exceed the total number of seats. Therefore, only those candidates who meet the cut off will be eligible for UPCET Counselling process for admission to engineering courses.
