Solution and Explanation

  1. In ∆ABC and ∆AMP, 
    \(\angle\)ABC = \(\angle\)AMP (Each 90°)
    \(\angle\)A = \(\angle\)A (Common)
    ∴ ∆ABC ∼ ∆AMP (By AA similarity criterion)
  2. \(\Rightarrow\frac{CA}{PA}=\frac{BC}{MP}\)
