NU-DET 2024 exam dates are out. NU-DET 2024 is scheduled on January 28, 2024. The last date of NU-DET registration is January 25, 2024. NU-DET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
You must pass your HSC (10+2) examination or equivalent considered by Nirma University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
OR
A State board of technical education approved a 10+3 diploma or any other equivalent considered by Nirma University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

To appear for the NU-DET 2024 exam, you must fill the application form on the official website. You can follow the instructions to successfully submit your application:
- Refer to the official website of Institute of Design,Nirma University.
- Make a new user account by filling out the necessary details such as name, phone number, email address, and country.
- Accept the terms and conditions, fill the recaptcha and click ‘Get OTP’.
- After successfully creating the account, you’ll be sent an email for your credentials.
- Check the spam folder or your mobile number if it is not there in email.
- Now login through your credentials and fill out the application form for NU-DET 2024.

The selection process depends on your performance in the NU-DET 2024 examination and your offline situation test and personal interview.
The weightage of NU-DET exam is 60% and offline situation test and personal interview carries 40% weightage.
NU-DET 2024 Selection Process
There are a total of 80 seats combined for B.Des. To secure your seat, you have to appear for NU-DET 2024. You can either take NU-DET or UCEED, or can take BOTH the exams. You can choose one exam score for your final evaluation.
NU-DET 2024 selection process has two steps: 1. NU-DET exam 2. Situation Test and Personal Interview. You have to clear both the steps to get final selection.
When you clear the NU-DET 2024, you’ll be called for the situation test and personal interview. Through this round, the university will evaluate your:
- Aptitude and interests
- General awareness
- Quality of response to social and cultural issues
- Creative thinking of candidates through their work.
The creative work could be:

Points to Remember:
- The creative work is presented to the interview panel.
- The portfolio should not exceed more than 10 works in total.
