Through MCAER PG Common Entrance Test, candidates are evaluated based on their graduation streams.

- Plant Pathology: There are 18 questions with 1 mark each. This section tests a candidate’s vigilance about the Introductory Plant Pathology.

- Agricultural Extension: There are 13 questions of 1 mark each. The most frequent topics include Fundamentals of Rural Sociology and Educational Psychology etc.
- Agricultural Economics: There are 16 questions of 1 mark each. The most frequent topics include Principles of Agricultural Economics etc.
- Animal Science & Dairy Science: There are 8 questions of 1 mark each. The most frequent topics include Livestock Production and Management etc.
