MAH B.Ed CET 2024: State Cell Maharashtra's exam body has started the MAH B.Ed CET 2024 registration for admission on July 12th, 2024. All the shortlisted candiates can now register through cetcell.mahacet.org. foe the CAP round.

MAH B.Ed CET result 2024 has been declared on its official website – cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates who appeared in the MAH BEd. MEd CET exam can check their qualification status by visiting the official website and downloading the result PDF of MAH B.Ed CET 2024. The MAH BEd CET results 2024 has been released in PDF format.

MAH BEd CET 2024 online test was conducted on March 2, 2024. MAH BEd CET exam is mainly conducted in two languages that is conducted in English and Marathi language. The duration of MAH BEd CET exam was 60 minutes. Candidates were supposed to complete the exam on time. They were not provided any extra time to complete the exam.

MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Counselling begins online from July 12th, 2024. MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Merit List is prepared by State CET Cell, Maharashtra - the conducting body of the entrance examination.

  • MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Counselling will be conducted in three rounds.

MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Eligibility is set by conducting authority, Maharashtra State CET Cell. It is compulsory for all the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. Maharashtra State Candidates

  • Candidates should be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree with subjects Sciences/ Mathematics/ Social Sciences (History/ Geography/ Economics/ Political Sciences/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Education/ Library Science)/ Humanity Sciences (including all Languages and Literature like – English, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Pali-Prakrit, etc. studied as Optional/ Special Subject at Graduation)/ Commerce.
  • Candidates who have passed their Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in the above subjects with the minimum of 50% marks for Open Category (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories from State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), 5 NT-2-(C), NT-3-(D), OBC, and SBC (44.50% and above to be considered as 45%) are eligible for the exam.

OR

  • Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects in Engineering or Technology/(Science and Mathematics as a special subject)/Bachelor’s Degree and or Master’s Degree with the subjects Management/Engineering/Computers/Law/Information-Technology/Agriculture/BBI/Medical Sciences/All Social Sciences/Fine Art/Performing Art (Music/Dance / Drama etc.).
  • Candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (54.50% and above to be considered as 55%) either in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree mentioned above (Minimum 50% marks in case of Backward Class Category candidates belonging to State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), NT-2-(C), NT-3-(D), OBC, and SBC. (49.50% and above to be considered as 50%).

  • The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree recognized as an equivalent degree by the Government of Maharashtra, in subjects mentioned above.

OR

  • The candidate should have any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree awarded to him/ her by any Open University incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature.

OR

  • The candidate appearing for the Final Year Examination of any Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible.

Other State Candidates

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • All the candidates including backward class candidates having Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree from Out of Maharashtra University will be considered as Open Category Candidates.

Ans. No, there is no such facility for providing MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Results through the post. Candidates have to visit the official website, the result will be declared and notified there.

Ques. Can I bring a soft copy of MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Admit Card?

Ans. The digital copy of MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Admit Card will not be entertained at the examination hall. Candidates must carry a printout of the admit card, which must be kept safe throughout the admission process.

There are three sections in the MAH B.Ed CET exam paper: Mental Ability, General Knowledge, and Teacher Aptitude. A total of 100 MCQs will be asked with 40, 30 and 30 questions from Mental Ability, General Knowledge, and Teacher Aptitude sections respectively. You have to attempt all the questions within 90 minutes. For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking for this exam.

The application fee for all the students from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Open Category from Maharashtra State, and J&K Migrant is INR 800. While the application fee for the remaining categories of students is INR 600.

To apply for admission in B.Ed program you must have at least completed a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks from a recognized university, 55% marks for Engineering graduates. You can register and take MAH B.Ed CET to get admission in B.Ed program once the application portal is live. The application process is expected to begin in the first week of February 2023.

The minimum mark requirement for BE/B.Tech graduates to apply for MAH B.Ed CET is 55% for general category students. Students belonginh to the reserved categories get a 5% mark relaxation.

If you are currently pursuing your bachelor’s degree, you are not eligible to take MAH B.Ed CET. You can register and take this examination once you have completed your B.Sc Statistics degree with at least 50% marks.

Both St. Xavier's Institute of Education and Bombay Teachers' Training College offers admission to its B.Ed program based on the merit of MAH B.Ed CET. To take MAH B.Ed CET, you must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. However, MAH B.Ed CET 2022 has been conducted in August 2022. If you have not take this entrance test, you will not be able to get admission in neither of this colleges for the 2022-23 academic session.
