GAT B 2025: NTA have published the GAT B Admit card 2025 on the official website on 17th April, 2025. The GAT B 2025 exam will be held on 20 April 2025 (Sunday) in CBT Mode. You can download the admit card with your Application number, date of birth and Security Pin (Captcha). Please check your Photo, Signature and Barcode in your GAT B Admit Card (Provisional). If any of the Photo, Signature and Barcode is missing, kindly re-download the GAT B 29025 admit card.
You can download the GAT B city intimation slip by using your Application No. and Date of Birth from the website https://dbt2025.ntaonline.in/. The link has been activated from 13 April 2025.
GAT B Registrations and form correction facilities are over for 2025. Candidates who are appearing for the GAT-B exam on April 20 must download the admit card using their application number and password. The GAT B exam will be held on April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
GAT B, or Graduate Aptitude Test, is a National-Level Entrance Examination that offers admission to the Department of Biotechnology (postgraduate programmes in Biotechnology, which include - MSc Biotechnology and allied areas, such as MTech Biotechnology and allied areas -MSc Agricultural Biotechnology and MVSc Animal Biotechnology. As per the previous year data:
- GAT-B 2024 cut-off percentile for the general category was 52.92%
- For those belonging to SC/ST categories, the cut-off percentiles are 25% and 27% respectively

GAT B 2025 Admit Card
To download your GAT B 2025 admit card your registration number and password are required. In case, you face any issue while downloading the admit card, contact NTA helpline at dbt@nta.ac.in.
GAT B admit card mentions name, roll number, photograph of the candidate, date, reporting time, and enxam center address. With this, it also mentions exam day guidelines which is mandatory to follow at the alloted center. Candidates are advised to note the following:
- The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.
- Admit Card will not be sent by post.
- Do not mutilate the GAT B Admit Card or change any entry made thereon.
- Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of their GAT B Admit Card and keep it in good condition for future reference.
GAT B 2025 Exam Pattern
As per GAT-B 2025 Exam Pattern, there are 160 questions in total but you need to attempt 120 in all. In Part A, answering 60 questions is compulsory while in Part B you need to answer 60 out of 100 question. The following table mentions the marking scheme of both Part A and Part B.

NTA will publish GAT B 2025 result on the official website. The merit list of GAT-B 2025 consists of the rank acquired by candidates based on their performances in the entrance examination. The participating institutions in the admission process of GAT-B will release the waiting list post the result announcement. The waiting list for GAT-B will be made based on the candidate's rank which is used for admissions by the participating universities.
